The AI allows for shots like this.

i updated the game with weather, japan, all free cars and packs etc. I started a race and there are no more corner flags or any other object around the track. i looked for the option before race start but i still have only pubblic dimension and nothing else. Any help?

You can find it in Event Settings, which is available in the screen right before you pick your car. In Event Settings, set 'Crowd' to anything other than 'None'.

thanks, i understood that there was an extra option below crowd so i was looking for it. However trying to fick it i made the stupid move to delete the update, download it again and reinstall. I hope i didn't mess up dlc stuffs like freed cars etc. cause you can't download them anymore. I hope the game will recognize them again.

I decided to set up a long challenge today, twenty-five laps at Takahagi Hills in hot-hatches. Trouble is, it looks like this confirmes that the new update has made the AI less competitive, which is a shame. I was three seconds ahead in a Mini by the end of lap one and over a minute by the race's completion (I was being less than optimal due to tackling face-offs.)

That is a shame, as I enjoyed having them battle me throughout an entire race - I didn't see any of them again after the first lap. I think if I had concentrated and not been tempted by the face-offs, I might well have lapped them.

What did you set the difficulty level at?

Sorry, I should have said: legend.

Actually, I just ran almost the same race, different class of cars, five laps and with wet weather on using my other account and the result was far more like it used to be...maybe it's a sliding scale sort of thing and it's more noticeable at the hot-hatch end of things? I'll check a bit further and even run the exact same race on the other account just in case...

I hope not...Hot Hatch is my favourite class. :(
After a bit more faffing about, I think you can probably rest assured. I went back to do the Mini GP this afternoon, which is only at rookie difficulty and noticed no actual difference from when I played it originally. The difficulty levels aren't that far apart I suppose - if that race had also been twenty-five laps, I probably would have built up a far greater lead on that too.

So, it looks like I was a bit premature in putting that post up - sorry folks.

No need to apologize, Meanelf. It's better to investigate these things rather than just blindly play the game afterall. Also, my OCD has convinced me to buy the event packs avaliable right now. Damn you addicting stars!

Decided to give up on waiting for the PS+ edition so I used the money I had on the store from Christmas and the 10% discount code for this weekend and bought the game. I know I could have bought it cheaper elsewhere, but convenience and I wasn't planning on buying anything else right now.

Well I used the 10% off code to get the season pass. The Mclaren F1 is really easy to control compared to some of the other hyper cars, I got a star I was missing on a time trial after my first go with it.

i'm playing it a bit, i have to say is a good game at end of the day and the handling is mixture of arcade and simulation not that bad. However two things are really bad in my opinion: 1) the AI continuing to smash into you and breaking way before needed when in front 2) cars unlockable only if you take part into a club. For example i will never drive a golf gti as i won't subscribe to psn plus..and given that it's the faster among basic cars i can't even challange properly ghosts of my friends in offline tour.

It's just about 3 cars in the whole games I think.

Played some Multiplayer races yesterday (surprised there was no lag) but I get you guys complaining about the rammers, not all of them are but I love it when I return the favor. Time trial is still the golden ticket though until they do private lobbies so we can do some GTP online nights.

You don't need PSN+ to join clubs and do the challenges. It's only online multiplayer that you can't participate in.

You do not need PS+ to be part of a club. There are five cars locked to clubs and all you need is a club high enough level to access them.
