I don't look deeply into the roots of music. All I know is it is a sub-genre of electro.

And I think it's kind of dubregstep, then again I'm not big on reggae. I will listen to it if I find it but I don't follow it.

not sure if trolling, dubstep is now just brutal and loud, 2009 was the best year for dubstep, it was just very soft and had vocals.

Skream still produces though and as far as I'm aware so do Excision and Datsik. Skrillex has influenced the progression of dubstep and taken it away from its roots, although Datsik and Excision play the similar style anyway. Pitbull's "music" is terrible anyway. Excision and Datsik are Canadian so I'm not quite sure sure what you mean by "had he gone and made it worldwide".

I don't mind Skrillex, it's his fan club that I don't like.

Actually, it's the people who listen to just dubstep and think they're electronic music specialists and everything is about a drop. Dubstep is nice, but there's so much more, and so much better. Moombahton/Moombahcore, Glitch Hop, House, Trap, DnB. Listening to this type of music isn't about who's better or what genre's better, it's about the music and the feeling/energy it can evoke, especially at a concert.

I may of started out with dubstep listening to Skrillex, as Reptile got me into the music. Before that, it was Pendulum, Justice and Deadmau5, but Skrillex got me into dubstep, and further into Electronic music. From there I found Kill The Noise, 12th Planet, Angger Dimas, Steve Aoki, Knife Party, Noisia, Birdy Nam Nam, Dillon Francis, KOAN Sound, Zedd and alot more.

TL: DR Don't focus on one artist or genre.
