DubstepMusic

So old, I remember listening to that in 2010, I think.

Don't get me wrong, it's a good song, but, it's a classic now. Well, as far as some dubstep goes into classic.

this statement is so wrong... Mt. Eden were a joke back then and still are. And not even remotely close to being a 'classic'

also on topic of the 'orchestral dubstep' while the actual melodies are nice, the production is totally ****. Boring and dull drums, annoying over the top synths... it's just the cliche UKF 'dubstep' recycled for a billionth time.

My opinion of Music is the same as my opinion of movies, which is that if it entertains me or sounds good I could care less about the production or who was involved with it. Some people look too far into it, I just enjoy it for what it is. Entertainment value only.

This is so minimalistic, it's almost underground, but it's well mixed, too.

Surprising. I'm a fan of liquid more than minimal, but, not bad. Thanks for posting these wubs.

Kelly Dean & Steady - Teflon ft Kemst (Datsik & Excision Remix) About as grimey as grime could get...

Zomboy - Falcon 6, Bar 9 - Murda Sound, and Mt. Eden - Omen are pretty good, too.

I've been listening to Dubstep since 2006 and still do. :)

2006? Me too! :dopey: :)

Also, Asa makes some underground grime. And, it's actually good, too.

Warning: language may contain meaningful lyrics, mixed with occasional swearing and racist slurs... (Not intentionally insulting, just a way of addressing someone, apparently.)

 How can you say you've been listening to dubstep since 2006 and think that's grime.

If you're not taking the piss out of the elitists and are actually serious, I strongly doubt you were. 12 or so years old and listening to an underground genre unheard of to the vast majority in the UK, never mind Canada/Germany, nah not buying that. What dubstep were you listening to back in 2006 then?

LOL I was just trolling. Grime is dark Dubstep. I'm not that dumb.

I was a fan of From First to Last. The lead singer at the time, Sonny Moore, was doing sideprojects. So, yes, technically.

Otherwise, not just dubstep. I was listening to EDM in general (edIT, Amon Tobin, and Prodigy) which was the basis of some dubstep (sort of, asides from the Jamaican pirates.)

But, feel free to keep doubting the 12 year old who's almost entirely, perpetually bored, and interested in the next bad:censored: music genre.

Ok, good for you and enjoy your "EDM" then I suppose.

Also, Skrillex didn't release anything until mid-2010, but, whatever I'l believe you.

I'm pretty sure he knows who Skrillex is.

Anyway, I never knew Sonny Moore was producing dubstep back in '06. What songs did he produce?

Iirc, I said "since 2006" implying that I started listening to dubstep in '07.

I didn't know it was going to become a huge issue, my wording might be incorrect, but my intentions were close.

no, when you say since 2006 it means from 2006 onwards

and to guy that said grime is dark dubstep, yes, you are

Close enough?

Anyways, I like this. I can't wait for the full length release.

I'm not responsible for the lyrics after the song I posted, please. If you choose to continue listening past the next few songs, it's your choice, and I'm trying to give the link to one specific song that doesn't (currently) include AUP-violating lyrics.

You're a hardcore Dubstep fan? Name this guy in the picture.
