Who said the PS4 version of GT6 would contain standard cars?Okay, yeah no. That's just PD taking the lazy route of re-releasing GT6 on PS4. NO! Rebuild GT again for PS4, honestly this is a bad idea. Then we'll just see the standard cars again, who wants that?...
I'm using my copy as a paper weight. It's use for that is far better then the software it contains. If it IS true then the current GT6 on PS3 is stuffed.
PD will be spending their time on the PS4 version instead of fixing issues and future update features that they have already promised.
Either way my copy still sits on a shelve gathering dust and I'm still waiting.

Yes, and my point wasn't directed at those other issues, you'll have noticed. Which...None of which has anything to do with the majority of the complaints on GTP concerning the current state of the GT series.
No, those are separate issues, which I didn't collect under my reply. Those are matters dealing with what's going on at PD, which we don't know. Is Course Maker II too much of a bear to get into PS3? Did the Senna content take more work than expected? Did the difficulty of working with Cell necessitate a large Spec II package to work right as Griffith500 posted about previously? Or has SONY put the kabosh on all serious GT development on PS3? We'll find out. By the way, the shadows weren't fixed that much in GT6. They're just blurrier in the nearfield. So yeah ... by your logic the AI, the Track Editor, the online features, and the damage model, all is being stopped because they don't have more RAM to work with?
It could. In theory. Unless PD repeats the pattern they had on PS3 and develop a game that can't meet the performance benchmarks they aim for. The PS2-era games ran at a much smoother framerate than GT5 (and especially GT6) could ever hope for, as just one example.
It'll be a more powerful engine, but there'll be more stuff running off of it. It's sort of like how an Elise can keep up with a car twice as powerful, that's also twice as heavy
So let me ask this does the mid-2015 release speak for GT6 on PS4 or GT7 or both?
Ninja Theory was extremely open about everything related to DmC and people just didn't like what they were being told; so it's not an example of a developer not being open. We knew the game engine, we knew most of the story, we saw most of the character design ideas, we saw many of the gameplay problems. We even knew that the game's director didn't care about anyone's problems with it, because he went so far as to say as much directly. We lobby CAPCOM for a proper sequel to the original Devil May Cry, and we keep getting a Dante that's a variation on Vin Diesel Jr in games they decide for us we really want.
Since GT6 is designed around having the Standard cars, as much as the "don't like them don't use them" crowd likes to say otherwise, they would kind of have to be there to still be considered "GT6."Who said the PS4 version of GT6 would contain standard cars?
So what you really meant is "the same handful of people who never stopped complaining about it being a PS3 game and so far haven't posted in this thread."
See, there's one of them.Yes!!!!
Come to papa!
Ps4 + GT6 will be a great solution.
What's not to love about PD committing the one move that would kill the most interest in the series possible? Now, if i return to reality: if there is some truth in this then the date must be closer, more autumn 2014. That way PD can fix many of what they promissed but only ps4 edition. Would love that!
Will you honestly believe standard cars won't be there in PS4 GT6? Dude, read this.Who said the PS4 version of GT6 would contain standard cars?
Gran Turismo 6 is coming to PS4 as 1080p 60FPS repackaged title in the vein of Gran Turismo 7: Prologue. Stunning visuals, extra features (social connectivity, new tracks, dlc etc). Coming mid-late 2015.
All of the separate issues I listed which you conveniently ignored, have nothing to do with the difficulty of working with PS3 and therefore won't magically change with a PS4. The biggest overall complaint is simply the game design and philosophy. It's old and stale and stuck in the 90's and going backwards, moving to PS4 will not magically change that.Yes, and my point wasn't directed at those other issues, you'll have noticed. Which...

As for "all other developers being SO much more open than PD," there's sure a lot of revisionist history going on around here.
Turn 10 was so vague and whimsical about one of their upcoming Forzas, 2 or 3, mentioning how neat the helicopter an speedboat physics were coming along, that fans were worried that they had been tasked with getting the next PGR off the ground, or some other game entirely since they were lagging so far behind every Gran Turismo in sales.
We lobby CAPCOM for a proper sequel to the original Devil May Cry, and we keep getting a Dante that's a variation on Vin Diesel Jr in games they decide for us we really want.
The developer working on Last Guardian (SONY Santa Monica?) is living in a pocket universe, unable to be reached from Earth.
In fact, developers that hang out with the fans aren't as universal as everyone insists they are. It's nice if they do, but they only do it out of the kindness of their hearts. Kaz and people at SONY associated with GT used to be more open, before a certain company decided to run off with their IP and clone it. And if I worked at PD, I sure wouldn't spend much time in this quagmire.
Because 1 disappointment is never enough. At PD they double up on everything.GT6 on PS4?
No its not designed around having the standard cars. I'm pretty sure they can remove all the standards prtty quickly if they want.Since GT6 is designed around having the Standard cars, as much as the "don't like them don't use them" crowd likes to say otherwise, they would kind of have to be there to still be considered "GT6."
You really dont know. Will you honestly believe standard cars won't be there in PS4 GT6? Dude, read this.
Meaning GT6 will be excatly like the PS3 version and will indeed contain standard cars.
Quote of the day ladies and gentlemen.Because 1 disappointment is never enough. At PD they double up on everything.
I'd be surprised if there isn't at least one poorly dubbed trailer from PD.Will not happen of course because nothing will be announced at E3 anyway.
Guess what!As long as they are decent looking (there are many quality levels inbetween the standards) you should not dislike them. They dont have interior, sure, but its better a decent looking standard car than no car at all.
Look for example the RUF's or the Seat Ibiza, they dont have interior but they look rather good in the exterior.
. So in 3 years they did nothing , ahahaha ! Well done PD !Reasonable expectations for GT5 on PS3 : ("they can't" , "it's 2010", "so much time")

So yeah I won't hold my breath thinking that THIS TIME they will deliver. I will be VERY surprised if they do.
There will be no GT6 on PS4.
Kazu has made clear : the next episode will be GT7 and no release this year.
Personally, I don't believe it, like many in NeoGAF.
If we are arrived there, it's because Sony and his Remastered policy.
When you see, players said amen to The Last of Us at $60, it's scary.
TLoU was the only other non-hockey game I bought for PS3 since GT5 dropped and I loved every second of it. I was thinking Project Cars would be my jumping off point for PS4, but once I heard about TLoU on PS4 it moved my plans up a few months:tup:👍Why wouldn't people want TLoU on PS4? It was one of the best games of the year, won multiple awards, and already had awesome graphics on PS3. PS4 version = no brainer.
