You can cheese the new Moment with the full TC, but this is still a annoying one :ouch: Winter MonteCarlo with a BMW M3 ? CodeMasters sometimes are pure evil :nervous::P
That was fun, I think I might have a new favourite car!!

That beemer was really nice in moments. Love how thé car is struggling for grip in the first part of the stage. I just like MC in general 🤗

No time to run anymore today since I go to a ballet with the misses 👌

I'm glad they used this layout and not the reverse one where the ice comes at the end.

Run into my first instance of "unrecoverable" just feeling incredibly unfair. Went off the road in today's historic stage in Greece, got the option to recover back to the road. Moved forward a tiny amount toward the road to see if I could drive it back, got the immediate DNF instead. If the option to reset was there before, the car was definitely still in a position to keep going...

Magpie, I studied and studied your Focus trying to do that livery justice. I went for the 07 version because I prefer it to when all the maroon bits were added. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, yours was just too good. Also hadn’t realised you could change the text colour of decals, that’s a game changer. It’s probably not the best livery editor in the world but I’m having fun with it.

Thank you for the kind words 🙂. Yeah when I discovered you could change the logo colours I found it really helped lend a bit of authenticity to the liveries.

I have to say I do also prefer the 2007 one without the maroon, but I had just finished watching the 2009 season review and had to recreate Hirvonens car after his epic fight back from Loebs domination.

Sounds like the Daily moment is going to be tough today. I use no assists with light ABS on DS4 pad so It will take a lot of patience.

Thanks to both you & Sharky. The handbrake shows 0% & seems fine now. Thanks also for your comment on the meaning of saturation. Let’s try & get some experience now then I can try to improve other parts, particularly the steering. I am using a Fanatec Podium. When you set your wheels up, did you use the full lock on the wheel? I have tried this, but get way too many turns lock to lock, or can you reduce the lock by using saturation? The steering also seems much too sensitive around the straight ahead area.
If you want to get 1:1 ratio steering, use the in game calibration. I have a fanatec dd (not sure what you have) and I got this from the fanatec forums, but it's bang on; I set the rotation on the wheel to 1080 degrees, then in calibration rotate 1.5 turns (540 degrees) - the game only requires you to input the max rotation in one direction, hence half of the total - that's it (do the 90 degree to finish the in game process). Every car will now match 1:1. Older cars have a larger rotation, your wheel will replicate that.
What did not work was setting wheel rotation to auto, everything was off when I tried that.
Bottom line is use the in game calibration.

I made a bug report for the hybrid map resetting to Cautious after every stage. Can you guys please give the post a "Me too" so it can get fixed. It's an egregious oversight.

I'll try and ask this again, I like to have my Co-Driver volume higher than the Engine/Surface so it stands out more and simulates IRL in-car intercom.

I have my Master volume on 100%, Co-Driver on 100% and My Engine, Surfaces and Effects at 50%(As low as possible) but I dont find much if any difference. I searched the Known issues thread and didn't see anything on there. Anyone have any issues? If possible I'd be very appreciative if someone would have a quick test in their game.

@MagpieRacer Re: AI difficulty sliders resetting, I did 4/5 stages of the Sardinia JWRC last night while adjusting the difficulty at the 2 service areas mid-event and they were functioning normally. Came back on this afternoon to finish the event (stages 4 and 5 were duplicates so I stopped after 4) and the AI were well off-pace for that last stage.

So yeah, for people persevering with Career mode right now; make sure to quit when you're at a service stop if you want the AI to behave themselves. :dopey:
What do you mean quit at a service stop? I read if you leave a rally midway and come back then the AI is borked.

Everyone is complaining about this. I don't know if there is a bug report or not but you should submit one. Co driver volume cannot go below 50 which is a bug or bad implementation.

Oh right, I know it can't go lower than 50 but still, With Notes at 100% and The Engine and Surface noise at 50% you would think there would be a noticeable difference. Anyway, As long as it's a known issue and not just my terrible hearing thats fine, I'll just wait for a fix. Thanks for answering👍

best setting for sound in this game is to set it for tv but use headphones, this was advised by codies sound guru and I find it to be just about the best sound in any game for me.

I have Audio mastering set to Home Cinema.
Co-driver at 50
Engine at 70
Effects at 70
Surfaces at 100

Works great, maybe because of the Home Cinema setting.

@FrankieStail I believe this guy is in your Club JRC?

He gets terminal damage but is allowed to continue as if nothing happened. It's a shame he didn't continue. It would have been interesting to see his final rally time with a 00:00.000 for Stage 2.

Google Translate managed to say exactly the opposite of what I was saying xD. I meant that while playing, the dirt doesn't look as good as in photo mode.

By the way... this combination of tires, for the Sierra... I would always have liked to see them; ) :
