Got 0:000 split at Kenya, yet was 71st starter and not equal too anyone, and little bit of screen tearing there also. PS5 , Still annoying fps loss at start of rally before you get in car and at end of stage where you stop and you get out of car view.

Trying to pay for a 1 month subscription to ea play, while on discount on psn for 1.49 cad instead of 4.99. Deal is until the 17th, but when i try pay for it, its just says something went wrong. To try later.
Tried a few times.., then i bought a low priced game afterwards to see if that worked, and it did.
Is there something i need do 1st? Like link my ps5 console to ea? Setup a ea account 1st?
i think i had one before, in the days of dragon age.
Not sure if my ps4 was linked, i never used ea play i think, dont play online etc.
Or do i need a subscription to psn online service 1st?

Still have stuttering on Monte Carlo, Mexico, Greece, Finland and Corsica though it certainly has been reduced but not eliminated. Seems more cleaned up too. Improvement is there, progress being made.
Photomode bugged, cars still floating above the stages. Especially noticable on tarmac.
In think in another 3 months there will be a much better and polished game. Loads of fun though 👍

It’s perfectly playable now at least. I tried Monte Carlo, which was the one I thought was particularly bad before, and despite a lot of tearing I found it fairly smooth, ditto Sweden which was very stuttery in places before. Also, the AI bug doesn’t seem to affect custom rallies so that’s at least a workaround given that you can create championships that way too. I’m increasingly happy with this now. The only thing I don’t like is how bland a lot of the scenery/environments are. It takes away a bit of the joy of exploring the longer stages when it all looks the same. At its worst, it reminds me of DiRT 4’s procedurally generated stages.

I'm on Xbox but did you try and search the store for the game itself? As on Xbox, that's where it offers the EA play trial, maybe that will trigger it.

Well i find the ea play subscription and discount offer, but when i add it to my basket, and try pay it, just at the final step, instead of confirming it's paid, it gives this error.

Yup, Looking forward to it. I was up early this morning and got to watch some of the second run through Isagami's Tunnel. That stage looks like it would be so much fun if it was in game. 👍

Just had time to do yesterday’s moment and the expert historic club and on ps5 all was very smooth, graphics look better too which I didn’t expect.
Gives me a lot of confidence that wrc will reach peak in a much shorter time frame than acc.

PC performance feels more or less than same as before, I did notice some screen tearing running Monte that I wasn't sure if I just didn't notice before....also experice a lot of the end of stage +0:00.000 time difference thing.

Had enough time to start a championship yesterday, lose the mistakes and penalties think 80 difficulty is a steady challenge for myself. Have hardcore damage on also, being a sucker for punishment

Wanted to post it’s always good when you stumble upon missed settings.
Happy to find the voice volume slider. (Was this available at launch?) I have to admit the crew chief commentary is kind of important in career mode. Otherwise he gets turned off.
Also found there are presets programmed for particular steering rims. This makes life so much better, no more guesswork. Maybe I missed this initially, but it would be nice if the game detected rim connections and prompted the user.

I'll have to start getting back Into my career. I have all the other Steam Achievements other than the 2 Career ones.
Also, I had another go of the Lancia 037 on the Acropolis Moment. I changed the diff settings to 30/30/27 and improved my original time massively, it was a dream to drive. So nice sliding it around those hairpins.

Loving this now as we figured a way around the ai difficulty, and how to save set ups. 20 seconds off the ai in a championship in Croatia on 80 difficultly. At first I was thinking "is this a step up from DR2.0". Now I know it is

Don't save set ups as the same name. I.e mexico, Croatia etc.
I've gone for car and country in one word and it seems to work. Like pumacroatia, or novamexico

If you quit inbetween stages it resets the difficulty to 50, if you leave while at the service it will save your difficulty. I think that's the base of it

Ah, yeah that’s been debunked I believe. It’s pretty random as to when it will bug and isn’t linked to leaving the events.
