Expert Level Race Car Challenge Grand Valley

I have notices this effect creeping closer in the past few expert race challenges. I ran Grand Valley last night with Honda HEIHIN ASV-010 '12. I passed the lead rabbit on L3(Corvette Z06(C6) RM. He had been running 2:00 laps. After the pass on L4 he ran 1:48 and on L5 1:46. I'm not complaining. I like having AI that will fight back and pass me if I blow my marks. However, this is a BIG change from what we have been used to seeing. Maybe, just maybe, this is a trend toward more realistic AI. Perhaps we could see less of the evenly spaced conga line and more AI side by side and overtake as we are now seeing in the Sierra Time Rally.

And regarding your question, they made a change a few months ago, but I would'nt call it more realistic, its just an extremely strong "rubberband AI" effect.
