I had a similar problem earlier this year skyline. I think its either a slow connection, or PSN has some heavy traffic issues with the PS4 releasing tomorrow here in the U.S.

Friday Practice Session at Daytona (Full Tyrewear, Fuel Depletion On)

I tried all three compounds for long run comparison on full fuel and a qualifying simulation with my teammate and my main rival in the championship.

I drove the old-specification Premium F2007 and managed a 1.20.322 (no slipstream) - just 0.8 seconds off Vettel's fastest lap set in Thursday's practice race.

Important Notice for Qualifying and Race:

The pit lane exit is the line to the left, in the inside of the barrier into turn one.

arty pit exit on Daytona maybe in real life what you have stated but in gt5 the computer puts you on exit of pits in to the entrance to the first corner you have to do the inside on the barrier yourself this is not something that easily done and my guess is you will be the only one who does it even ip will take computer exit as it's the logical and faster exit
 
Nope, I asked race control for clarification and he told me in no uncertain terms that that the inside line (within the barrier) is the pit lane exit. On leaving the pit lane, I also observed Vettel keeping this line too, it is the official line and it is the safest line too.

I can only assume that anyone who violates the official pit lane exit and thereby does not listen to the Race Director, will losing championship points and I just wanted to warn people because that would be a travesty after a long race.

Personally, I've found it fun to do the official pit lane exit, and the funniest part was seeing Vettel in my mirrors getting it wrong and and losing about a second and a half to me as we left the pits in the first practice - I think on this track, pit entry and pit exit are important skills to master.
 
That's true but as I said gt5 takes you to the entrance of first corner it's no easy thing to switch to keeping to the inside of that barrier I my self as you've seen often take that exit as it cancels out any first corner madness in race conditions but be wary if you have guest drivers as they will not no about this

I'm trying too I've reset it put it back to default settings reinstalled everything but still no friends list spoken to psn support they told me to deactivate my ps3 then reactivated it in 24hrs do if I make it in to race tomorrow you know it's worked,I'm sure you've not missed me that much arty apart from when you have to lap me lol

But seriously, our regular room is not the same without you and also T too, instead we have this idiot Edd guy who crashes into me and blames ME! and calls me a **** and everyone else just finds it funny... I guess it's karma lol

Sorry lol we kinda been hooked on f1 and I'm in a personal battle with Marzs and T just finding its offers so much more over a full race.
Hopefully if it works tomorrow il be in the race thou doubt il be on pace took me 6 hours just to do a decent lap on the TT
 
I hope we have a fun race later today guys, clean one. Remember to perhaps start Qualifying 15 mins later than usual due to the US GP finishing immortal.

Immortal there's tornadoes in the midwest right now..... Texas looks totally clear though, perfect weather. Damn, was hoping for it to get interesting. The front is past Texas now.

Not quite, I think it's above me now, it's clear there, & partly cloudy here.
 
That race was almost too intense with the draft, after it was over I felt like I'd been in a real race, lol. You know that feeling....

Anyways, I think were going to have to have a talk with the polyphony digital FIA about the 6 DRS Zones on that track, I think at the most 2 DRS Zones is appropriate for these races, lol.
 
Very unlucky cb with your DC not nice team got also DC on the same time like you.

I have to say 2 things.

1. We give cb a warning because you rammed jb and he almost spun out.

2. Rich get a 15 Sec penalty for pushing me out on lap 2 i have overtake him and on the overtake you have pushed me on the rear out, i was last after this.​

On my replay and from my point of view it looks like you dived under me and started sliding. I tapped you but you bolted into my path and an un-reactable speed to where I had no choice but to tap you, and quite honesty you might have not made the corner regardless if I'd been there or not....

It also really looks like a bizarre place to pass based on where everyone's been passing at that track to begin with. It was unexpected and it was almost impossible given what anybody would expect in that corner racing someone...

I'm sorry you went off but my intent would never be to crash you off and certainy braking into a slow corner and being the car ahead (as I was) I needed to have some room for the narrow corner, I didn't even think to expect a car to come flashing, literally flashing into my path. I'm curious what the others think of the incident, that's really how I took it and after it happened I didn't even think twice about it being a penalty to be honest. I've hit people far harder and far worse with no consequences, and immortal you hit me from behind far harder during that race but I didn't crash because I wasn't sliding under someone 20 degrees.

I know that you are angry you were slowed down and could have lost the race, but I know it wasn't the slightest bit deliberate, I encourage the others to look at the replay of the incident.

To my eyes it was just a racing incident between Alonso (Mustard) and Vettel (Immortal), I think that is a very risky place to try an overtake and I don't remember anyone else trying it there either.

Lewis (Artmann) hit me into the chicane (on my outlap from the pits) when I was letting him and Webber (JB) pass under blue flags and ruined my engine for a good 20 seconds but I saw it as a racing incident - I hope he didn't mean it.

Without that and the two unnecessary spins when I was leading the race, I had the pace and the strategy to finish in second position. Very pleasing performance over the week for me, and it was a brilliant race overall with Webber, Alonso and Lewis fighting every inch of the way.

I can't wait for the next race in my favourite car, GP/F is a tricky track where I've made alot of mistakes at last season but it also is very enjoyable and I am better than I was so... :)
 
Huge glitch last night on exit to banking head to fast chicane my screen showed tex passing me then jumped behind me then was ahead of me then I'm in the barrier then d/c thanks gt5 servers

Yea it is really good.
Do you use 1080p, 1080i or lower HD? I used 720 on my other monitor I have heard it was faster. But im not sure it makes a difference with 1ms
 
I have on 1080p with the monitor thats ok you dont need 720 on a monitor. I just have make in the setup gaming setup the colours are perfect for gaming and no lags on the gaming mod. You have also a gaming mod there?
