K, here's the pics of the lap. I'll post set up later as I've gotta go to the gym now.

I ran a Grand Prix weekend last night ,on the setup that gave me my time on TT.
Funny thing occurred,my gearing was way out of whack, so I thought I'll just fix it and managed .3 faster (but forgot to get sectors).Finished the weekend and went back to time trial and you guessed it gears were way to long, ran about 2 secs slow ,put them back and was on my times and splits.

Has anyone else encountered this or something similar .Seems rather peculiar.

Yeah,i've had this problem before...I set my car up during carreer,save it,but when i go to TT,all the settings are back to standard...However,if you go to car set up in TT,go into handling,don't change anything and go back out on the track,it changes to the carreer adjusted settings...Strange!!

Yes for sure. Don't worry about the lateness of your entry to the event.


pino-r, your question to posting replays is not required, if you look back through the posts you will find that only the weekly winner is required to show their lap time(shaggy Alonso 6 posts previous post 271).
If you want you can post your setup after each weeks event has finished,and some discussion of and comparison to should probably assist you in events coming up.

4RE 4LIFE, All you have to do is follow the track/vehicle name try your hardest for unlimited laps ,in any mode other than online,and post it in the required format eg;
Track/vehicle
overall time sector1/sector2/sector3 your name

I take a photo of my fastest lap with sectors and keep them in a folder, so far I have not been required to show a tme as I am not quick enough,but this series has definitely help improve my times.


DO NOT BE DAUNTED BY THE TIMES SET BY THE TOP FEW DRIVERS
This is for enjoyment and to help each other improve,we are all busy with other things but the guys are friendly and helpful. Hope you stay with us as the more the merrier.

I have to write them down ,, just in case my new setup is pathetic,

I always wanted to know is there a place you can save 7-8 setups so that we can load them later (lets say if I wanted to load Monacos setup for Hungary )

No there is no way to save multiple setups, the game will just save whatever setup you you chose for each different car. It can be annoying, I sometimes write them down too.

If he posts sector times before I update everything (within the next 24hours), or even a 31.4XX time then it will be allowed. If not, well then I'm afraid a time like that which is so much faster then the next fastest cant really be recorded.

That's fare enough ,as much as a 1st win would please me, it would feel rather hollow knowing Alireza has done a faster lap(much), and let us all know, but just didn't post in full detail.

The Lap was finally 31.356/33.576/26.487 1:31.419 Alireza Sabbagh

But GT4 kindly dont acknowledge it, I set the time and I have the pic in my mobile but as I had an emergency travel and I am a person who obides by the rules, I really wanted a 1:30 time but even though on a great lap I had a second split of 1:04.677 I fluffed the third sector trying to be a little cheeky into the last corner to get the 26.2 I needed to break the barrier, You can Imagine the number of %$%#$% words I said in the middle of spinning off the final kerb and going into the wall !!!

It was a fine effort and one which I believe is worthy of thinking about !!!!

This is not a late posting in the full sense of meaning of the rules IMO.

Well seeing as though we chose not to use any of the historic cars, I was torn between the Ferrari and the McLaren for obvious reason. But instead I thought I let them decide who wins the constructors first, so I've chosen this years third best team, BMW Sauber at their German home ground of Nurburg.

I'll update everything soon. 👍


Everything is updated, look how close Zed is to me! Right this week I'm going to make time, so I'm going to take the BMW out for a spin now.
If you spot any mistakes (like the spelling of Nurburg??) please let me know. 👍

Edit 2: I got a 1.27.735, 28.826/37.441/21.469, GT4genius I hope to go a lot faster than this, but I just thought I'd post it as a guy to show that the top time will probably be about 2-2.5 seconds faster than this.
