Times are tumbling, fast times guys. We have come to expect Alireza and Shaggy to show us that there is another second or so.
 
I updated it again, seems very competitive this week.
BTW, can everyone please post their times in the form:

X.XX.XXX, XX.XXX/XX.XXX/XX.XXX, Name

Getting really close to fishfash now, is the theorectical time from both those actually faster than his?? :sly:
Still worried about what Alireza could post. And sadly this is my last day to try and beat it, because I wont be near a PS3 until Monday night. :nervous: And I'm sure Zed and Shaggy aren't finished yet either.

AAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH, so so so so so very very very very close!! I drove about 20 more laps after the last time sure that I would get a low 25. I could have got it with my best sectors but none of them would come together. The closets was a 1.04.446 after the second sector, I thought I'd take the last sector easy so as not to spin but I took it too easy and lost too much time in it and got another 25.7. These were my best sectors; 28.0/36.3/20.7 so in theory a 1.25.1, but it wasnt to be, good luck to whoever else can make Fishfash worry, thats it from me this week. :indiff:

I know double post, but meh, it is me giving up after my best week so far because I have no more PS3 for the week so it deserves its own post.
 
Good fast lap anyway you look at it.Getting your best sectors in one lap is a bit of a{(place wise saying here).meaning elusive}My brains fried, 2 1/2 hours sleep just doesn't cut it.

1:28.137 28.306/35.862/20.969 Alireza Sabbaghfor thought : there is still 3/4s of a second in this setup + 0.5 in the fact that I was using automtic gears !!!!!
Just let me get everything right , it could ba a low 1:24 !!!!!!!

Anyway, looks like no one has the pace to match Alireza this week, I'm pretty disappointed I couldn't come closer, and I think he's locked out all fastest sectors, not sure on that. It's been a brilliant hot lap week though, probably the best yet. And congrats to GT genius, his most competitive week in ages.

Ah great, so now my second has become a forth in one night. :indiff: Anyway great lap from Alireza and you Shaggy. Now I just have to wait for Zed to post a sub 25.7 lap and I'll be back to my usual place.
 
Losts of posts this week, really good times and really close too.
Still struggling in the final sector but I must get some sleep.

27.9/35.8/21.0.....are the best splits.

It really was a fantastic lap, pity i didnt do the 27.9 first sector i normally did, so im a bit dissapointed in that, other than that im sure i was using much less traction control than most of u guys (I was using 67 %), and I was tentative with throttle application but it had much much better accelaration. Anyway it was a nail biting week wasnt it ???
Thanks for acknowledging the laptime it a great feeling when people like fishfash, shaggy, GT4, Zed & et al give you rave comments.
Lets hope for more racing like this!!!!

LOL GT4, I'm not that good 👍

Oh I was so tempted to start tinkering with the set up but left it well alone. I had a look at what settings could be changed and it looked too daunting. There is so much to change, looks like I could spend hours tinkering :yuck:
 
Yes many hours and decisions ,but after a while you know what particular things suit your style and the rest are track particulars.It does seem that default suits your style though!!!


@Alireza yes less traction control was the go, I was on 75%.

Outstanding week of times ,less than 0.2 covering 4 drivers. It's like real qualifying except over a week ....lolol.

Brazil... something tells me it could be another tight finish. Great circuit haven't driven it on F1CE yet but no doubt it will look good, and not just because I just bought a HDMI cable,the games are about 25% clearer than the component setup.

I might post my setup to compare ,as the sector times are distributed amongst us. Could be worth a look ,let me know if you want, otherwise I 'll be hearing (shakes head reading) from you during the week.

I will post my set up now. Default set up with soft tyres :lol:

PS: Look who got the fastest final sector, in the lowest placed fastest sector so far. :dopey:
