F2007 Event @ Fuji

Well Thank You PD for bringing back the F2007 and at an actual F1 Track. With 20 laps still no tire wear or pits, but a step in the right direction. I know what some are going to say, cutting the chicane, not enough penalties. But I dont care after the last month I will take it.

UPDATE: Anyone interested in starting an Unoffical GTP F2007 weekly race, post and I will add to a list. Should be a lot of Fun, Also post what Day / Time would work best. And Which Game Version you use...NTSC/PAL.

So far the best lap I have managed in free practice is a 1:18:390, but I'm sure this will improve with more practice.

20 laps!!!! at last a decent race, i don´t like so much the f2007 but if there is 1 on 20 laps sure there will be more soon.

Right now thats not bad,I ran one race tonight thats about my best time. ( I WON) But I know theres a lot more there even after 20 laps I never pushed as hard as the car wanted it.

My main fear with this is the amount of people that will quit while hosting.
20 laps may be too much...

So far I have ran 2 races, Won both,no real good competetion though. Mr Latte thats a pretty good best lap. You have my best of 118.xx beat so far,gonna be fun to watch lap times fall in this one especially if you can catch draft on straight. Guess we better put a little extra on 7th gear for draft room. This event just screams out for an organized GTP once weekly event. Anyone interested post some ideals on what day/ time to do so.

I would prefer 10. 20 is too many because, at best, I can find a race with 3 other guys. The second anyone gets smoked early on they leave and by lap 8 or so generally the field has played itself out for the most part and after that it is just a joyride...

Although I did have a nice back and fourth with someone around 2am this morning. I ended up smoking him finally at lap 14 but on lap 16 I spilled my bottle full of tobacco juice all over the floor in my basement and he almost caught up then...

I tryed the 20 laps race it my first time in the F 2007 since one or two months.
Total time 25:56 min (many mistakes at the beginning)
laptimes: 1.15-1.16 best time in laps 15: 1.14,9
I think the Race is a bit to long 10 laps woud be ok. If you don´t have a good driver in your race its realy boring.

Thats why we need to schedule events with GTP guys. Would be great to have 10 - 12 cars close for 20 laps.

i would love to join you once but im runnin a Pal version an im in a hole different time (GMT +1). My first choice of the new events is Suzuka 10 laps, I think that I will spend the most of my time there. I will be following you threat here and pop up now and then.

Haven't tried this event yet, but I love driving the F2007 so I should like it.
I'm thinking the right times to join the event would be :00, :30? Thats when I normally join events.

Got to run a couple of races on this one tonight. Grids are still small would be great to have a full field tends to get VERY spread out.

I still havent hit the 1.15s yet but I can steadily turn out 1.17s 20 laps no big mistakes classic slow but steady.

I need to try this, but I won't go online until I know for sure that I am capable of driving the F2007 safely... I am quite terrible in this car, and have never really been into F1...

Hopefully I'll manage around 1'20.xxx which is probably realistic for me...

Great, Your on the PAL version though. F2007 is not a world event sadly. Mayby you can get some PAL guys together. Or if you have a NTSC copy laying around.

The fastest lap I have done at this event is a low 1'14. I do consistent 14's and 15's at this event.
Just wondering what sort of times others are doing?

My best time so far (did 2 Races) was a 1.14,6 the average was around 1.15,2
Maybe we can face each other on track soon.

I'm turning 1'16.5xx consistantly and it's not good enough on the PAL side.
