Fallout new vegas

I played this on the PS3 and as well as I can tell, there's about four different endings based on the faction that you sided with. Each of these endings seem to vary a bit based on the companions that you chose and how they were deployed. I got all four endings in one play through by reverting to an earlier game save and branching out from that.

I couldn't resist. I really wanted the power armor and I was a little interested in the seeing another ending as well so I helped out Jacobstown & the Enclave and then went straight over to Yes Man to finish with a free Vegas. I really am done with the game for now anyway. It is interesting to see how it all ends with the different actions taken.

A little disappointed that there is still no announcement for DLC on PC however since I have had my fill of Fallout universe for now, I will probably wait till there have been multiple DLCÂ’s released before I pick it up again.

I just watched the new teaser trailer for Elder Scrolls V so IÂ’m off to dig out my copy of Oblivion that I have been meaning to play for some time now

I'm playing through this game for the 5th or 6th time now. Has anyone bought dead money? There is still no release date for PS3. :(

Yeah, timed DLC is no good if you're at our end! But the only thing keeping me from sinking MAJOR hours into New Vegas is GT5!:sly: It's a shame all the epic games come out around the same time... I dropped many hours into Fallout 3!

Only thing I have left in GT5 is a few enduros and some driving challenges. I'm already bored of it though.

This game on the other hand...

Nah, I'm not bored yet! I have a bunch of cars I just enjoy driving and earning money to upgrade and buy new cars! I imagine I'll drive at least most of the 1031 cars before I put it down for good!

I'm playing on PC, which is also a Microsoft product yet I have to wait like you PS3 guys :(

Timed DLC is a joke, it's always MS opening up the cheque book... there's no reason to have timed DLC

Damn, didn't even know the DLC was out.

I'm a 360 guy, so I'll pick it up tomorrow probably. I'll come in here and let you guys know how it is when I get a chance to play it.

Ya,

MS is despicable that way... but it's better then Mac in my opinion... it's a shame they can just power spend their way through everyone else to get their way.

And I've always wondered about the PC thing - any ideas anyone?

That'll be because the PS3 exists. MS thinks people will buy a 360 over similar products because they get DLC before any other platform - namely the PS3, the 360's direct competitor in the Console Wars. If the PS3 didn't exist, PC would get DLC at the same time as the Xbox because the 360 would have no competitor in the market.

It's very petty on Microsoft's part, really.

So I'll finally get a chance to check out this DLC tonight after not having time all week. I played through all four endings at this point already, so hopefully the DLC will breathe some life into this.

Alright, well I finally got to sit down and play some of the DLC yesterday.

First impression, damn, it's hard. All of your weapons/armor/etc. are gone and you must start from scratch. You've also got a handy bomb-collar around your neck and enemies that will get back up once killed unless you dismember them w/ a slicing weapon or blow them up with explosives.

Level cap is raised by 5, there are some cool new weapons, and yeah...it's hard. I went into it as a level 30 after breezing through the main storyline, and I've died more in the DLC than I probably did in the whole game combined.

Still, I love it and can't wait to get some more time in tonight.

I am still in the process of finding all the locations in the game. Currently I have 175 locations. I would guess I have at least 3/4 of them. I am also level 29. I dont really want to go much farther after I hit level 30. But on the other hand I dont really want to buy the DLC. I watched a couple reviews for it and the dlc doesnt look all that great. But I think it does raise the level cap to 35?

I havent play fallout new vegas in a while and, im trying to get some powerful weapons. But cazadors are in the area and there worse than, deathclaws so is there any tips on killing them.

They don't like fire. A flamer works well.

I've personally just started I think my 8th play through of the game. This time I'm playing on very hard and using clothing with no DT and my character only has 3 strength points.

Just picked the game up over the weekend and I'm not very happy. Go to load up a save and I get a message saying the downloadable content for the save is no longer available followed by storage device no longer found. That's funny, since this is an offline only console and no DLC has ever been loaded for the game. Cleared cache and still doesn't work. Thankfully I have a save that has about 5hrs less playtime but I think that one will eventually be corrupt as well.

Besides a few enemies being stuck in the ground, I made it through 100+ hours of this game on the 360 bug free. Definitely never had the game crash on me.

I've been reading up on it and it seems to mostly happen after certain mission, mission I haven't reached. It's a fairly common problem and one of the 240+ bugs supposedly addressed in the last patch. Even after the patch, the save may not be salvageable.

edit

and happened again after 8 more hours of which 3 are wasted.

After all this time I've just encountered an odd glitch where while playing blackjack some of the cards may end up face down. How strange.

Dead money is finally coming to PS3 on Feb 22. Yay.

Enjoy it. I found it to be much more challenging than the main story, but it was a lot of fun.

it's been a bit but since I've got a 360 I've been through that DLC pretty thoroughly if you ps3 guys need any help, let me know.
