Your forgot to buy the Fanatec V3 pedals.Ok my Dudes, this are my first initial impressions with my New Toy.
I‘ll try to keep it short and to the Point.
The Wheelbase is a Dream. Buttery Smooth, absolutely quiet and ridiculously Strong with the 8nm Power Supply.
Quality Build, Materials feel great and everything is well built together.
Overall a great Wheelbase.
The Wheel is surprisingly very good too. The Rims’ Rubber Surface feels great and grippy, some very smart Button Layout, everything is easy to reach. It looks very small with its28cm Diameter but once in use, it feels very Natural and provides a decent Feeling.
The Pedals, well the Pedals. To me the most important part in a Sim Setup. Very good Quality Build, very solid and rigid. Zero Flex and a very nice Metal Finish. They definitely feel very good underneath your Feet.
The Load Cell is awesome. Hard like a Brick made of Concrete. Very precise to operate, Trail Braking is a Dream.
So overall, I’m very happy with my Purchase, it was a long wait but now that it’s here , all the desperate waiting is forgotten.
Well done Fanatec, I was unsure if I made the right decision when I sold my complete Thrustmaster Equipment with which i was very pleased.
But I’m convinced now that it was the right decision, at least for me.
It’s definitely a step up for my Sim Racing Experience and I’ll enjoy my Hobby now more than ever.
I‘ll attach some Pictures with all the Stuff I bought over the past 4 Weeks.
It wasn’t Cheap but that’s my Hobby which gives me so much joy and pleasure and I absolutely don’t regret it a single bit.

UPS app updated with a new label which is good. Fanatec need to work on their communication and logistics quite badly. They’ve basically got a monopoly on the console sim market so it feels like complacency honestly.

Nice! Mine is 9 - 12 midday. I am working from home that day so it will be a distraction until I finish at 4pm
Have you a proper set up/Rig too? I only have a Omega GT stand (left overs from my Thrustmaster TX458) and I am worried its not enough.

I know the connections are slightly different with the load cell but I’m not bothering with moving the brake to be a clutch so will it be a straight swap out?

Got the Premium Bundle with the Load Cell Kit
That’s what I did too, I don’t need the Clutch as I don’t use a shifter.
But main Reason was too be able to keep the Throttle and brake Pedal as far apart as possible for a more relaxed Foot Position

Actually mine is 10-1 so it is likely to be on the morning, I’m also wfh so will have to resist temptation as unfortunately I’m busy atm.
No I dont have the space, I ended up getting a Next Level Wheel Stand DD, all the reviews with the DD Pro are good as all say no movement etc so should be good.
Looks similar to what you have by the looks of it.

That looks quite nice that, good that its DD compatible. Make sure to come back and give us a review of it once all set up, with 8nm turned to Max too

If you're driving race cars for any length of time, like normal daily race C, I hope you got strong wrists. I love - and need - 100% with road cars, but with race cars I get too fatigued and sore. Maybe I'm gripping the wheel "wrong", but I don't think so. And yes, I'm quite fit and injure free.with 8nm turned to Max too

I will try it once, then never again I guess.Damn. My arm was twisted by the imminent price increase, I just went in on the 8nm bundle to go with my existing V3's - now the waiting game. I also managed to source a PS5 so bizarrely the clouds have aligned all in the space of a couple of hours. I was reluctant to get rid of my TG-T as it's a world tour special but I think this will be a suitable upgrade nonetheless, and mean I can finally get back on GT after well over 2 years.

I use the gt omega wheel stand stand with an Accuforce wheel. I had my brother weld some bars to it to help make it stronger but it worked with out it.

How did you get the DDPro to work with PC2 on PS5 ?
I just tried it and it doesn’t work.
On Screen it says Controller disconnected and no matter what I try I can’t get it to work.
I updated to the latest Firmware and it’s still not working.
Please explain to me how you made it work as this is my most favorite Racing Game.
Would be a massive Disappointment if I could not play it anymore.
Maybe @DomB_Fanatec knows more?!

CSL Elite Steering Wheel WRC.
I went for the WRC wheel as I wanted a single all-rounder wheel, so that ruled out the likes of the McLaren GT3 V2. Shipping not until 6th April due to the load cell kit not being available until then.

Yes, connecting an Xbox-licensed steering wheel unlocks the Xbox mode, which is indicated by the power button LED in green. You may have to press the button a few times to cycle through to this mode. You then need to press the Xbox/Guide button to sign in with the controller, as with any Xbox controller.

When playing on Xbox, is there a compatibility mode available too or does Xbox not need that?
Just thinking about games that don't natively support the wheelbase (like DiRT Rally 2.0).

I noticed the pics of people using the metal quick release adapter with the GT DD pro show the red one. The one offered on Fanatec‘s site though is black. Is there any difference other than the color? Maybe that’s why someone was told it wouldn’t work with the GT rim?

Has anyone experimented with FF Scale LINEAR/PEAK?
I just tried linear in GT7 after having dismissed it in GTS, and I actually prefer it. Especially with cars like the stock Porsche 930 at Nürburgring. With 5/1 in-game and 100% FF on 8 Nm it feels excellent. However, I imagine it might be too weak on 5 Nm...
What LINEAR does it reduces max torque to the max holding torque, so everything becomes a bit weaker but it ensures you that the wheel never clips. I hate clipping (and so should you).
