I imagine it would, the CD PRO DD wheelbase has the little RJ45 plug in the back to accept the connection. If I already have a load cell pedal for my CSL elite PS4 wheelbase, would that pedal work with the new csl dd?

Judging from the photos, it has the same four RJ45 plugs as the CSL Elite - Shifter1/2, Pedals, Handbrake, so as Masterbrewww says, they should indeed work just fine.I imagine it would, the CD PRO DD wheelbase has the little RJ45 plug in the back to accept the connection.

Anyone know how far goes the compatibility? It says all wheels are compatible but doesn't mention the csl elite wheel.
Thanks

Hi Saidur_Ali I remember you from the GT6 Time Trials days and they were good times we had, and I hope GT7 is the same as GT6 days.Went with the express the version after February estimated date moved to March. In this day and age, you don't know if you will live to March so best to get it early as possible. I am just curious to see how it is so probably bit overkill and a waste on me to have such a wheel but should be fun for a few moments at least.
I got warehouse processing email on the 7th for DD Pro Express and Boost Kit. Today, I got UPS import charges are due with estimated delivery Tuesday 14th. Never used anything from Fanatec before so will be interesting to see how it feels, if you can feel the limit of the car well or not.
Hopefully the pedals don't have the same deadzone as Thrustmaster ones and are more responsive like Logitech. If only it was possible to get a load cell kit earlier, seems like I will have to wait until March. Curious to see how they respond as only had potentiometer pedals before.
Pretty much skipped majority of PS4 generation without a wheel so will be good to see how things have progressed on PS5 and if it is as good as PC for feedback now. If this is really good then maybe can challenge for a GT world record.
Hi, your name rings a bell. I remember the seasonal events, it's been 8 years since GT6 released. Yeah, they were good times. GT7 looks like it is shaping up to be a much better game, about time too. 👍Hi Saidur_Ali I remember you from the GT6 Time Trials days and they were good times we had, and I hope GT7 is the same as GT6 days.
I was only going to buy the DD standalone wheelbase, but I ended up buying the DD Pro Express and Boost Kit yesterday. I already have a CLS Elite wheel with V3 pedals for a while now and they are pretty good stuff.
Why I went to buy the DD Pro Express and Boost Kit rather than just the wheelbase, is for backup equipment just encase something goes wrong.
At some point in the near future they will be offering the CSL DD Pro as a standalone wheelbase option so it seems you are best to wait for that.I've wanted a Playstation compatible CSL DD for so long, but I can't bring myself to buy one with all the extras (pedals, wheel) I don't want or need. 😭
Thomas wrote that their target is to ship the stand alone dd pro wheelbase only with the boost kit (8nm) before GT7 release in March. The cost will be at 599.95€/$. Waiting the Sony license. At some point in the near future they will be offering the CSL DD Pro as a standalone wheelbase option so it seems you are best to wait for that.
No.would my Thrustmaster T-LCM Pedals work with the Wheelbase ?!
Can confirm it works fine on PC2 on PS5 (at least using compatibility mode)Just a short question to you People that own the Gt dd pro, can someone confirm that it’s recognized and works with Project Cars 2 on PS5 ?!
The difference isn't huge.Would it be a worth upgrade or is the benefit neglectible…🤔
TM is about to reveal their budget DD base, but if the timeline they posted a while ago is correct it'll be for PC only.
The FFB comes from the base. SHO controls some additional effects by vibrating motors in the steering wheel. So, I noticed something interesting in the GT DD Pro manual.. SHO isn't supported by the included wheel.. this means that there is no FFB in the wheel because it doesn't have vibration motors?

I see.. So this wheel doesn't have SHO then, but if I get an upgraded wheel, it'll have the SHO?The FFB comes from the base. SHO controls some additional effects by vibrating motors in the steering wheel.
The GT steering wheel has no electric motors. So this wheel doesn't have SHO then
Yes, but on console the games must support this feature. On PC you can control SHO through FanaLab even if the game does not support this feature.but if I get an upgraded wheel, it'll have the SHO?
This is the person you are looking for @F4H Super GT.Also, have been watching your youtube videos lately and love your content lol
now only Clubsport series formula wheel have vibration motors build in , CS BMW GT2 V2 also disable this feature for saving weight and add rigidity , CSL and Podium series wheel don't have those motors as wellI see.. So this wheel doesn't have SHO then, but if I get an upgraded wheel, it'll have the SHO?

I hope they ship out our stuff before they start the inventory in January 6.. if they don’t, we’re stuck until like January 17 lolOrdered the Express bundle this morning. Very excited. I've been a Fanatec consumer for several years. Started with the CSW 2.5 base and the BMW wheel. I was very happy with that. Then I got the Rseat N1 rig. That was a huge upgrade. Then moved up to the Podium DD1 and the Podium rim with the magnetic shifters. So I've experienced what I would consider the best. Then of course life happened and I had to sell everything. Now I'm starting over. I've been messing around lately with Forza 7 and a controller. So the sim racing itch was coming on strong. I certainly do miss it. I have a pretty heavy motorized desk so I'm gonna go with the table clamp that's included in the bundle. Unfortunately my living situation doesn't afford me the room for another rig. Oh well, such is life. But I am excited for GT 7 coming out in March. Hopefully it won't be delayed again. Race on guys! Have fun.
Exactly. What are the odds they could ship tomorrow? I've been following this thread. You're going to love those V3 pedals. I had those for a couple years before I sold everything. I've been waiting for GT7 for about 6 years. The dream is to play it with a direct drive wheel base. I know that rim is pretty cheaply made compared to what I had before but it looks like I can upgrade it later on. Hang in there bud. We're almost there!I hope they ship out our stuff before they start the inventory in January 6.. if they don’t, we’re stuck until like January 17 lol
Tomorrow chances are not good… their “warehouse” (which I think is just a logistics company) was closed Friday and probably Monday. There’s a chance they’ll go out Tuesday or Wednesday but if not, we’ll be waiting forever lol..Exactly. What are the odds they could ship tomorrow? I've been following this thread. Ordered from europe wednesday, and it was shipped to me on thursday/friday, I should get the note today in my mailbox and will be able to pick it up or get delivered tomorrow. Also if fanatec didnt sent you an shipping number, you might want to check on your order confirmation as they never sent me a email that my wheel was shipped.Exactly. Yeah this is the email I got before mine was shipped, check on your fanatec account, under your order if they didnt input the shipping number by any chance. You gotta press view on your order page to see it. Cant miss it.I got this email from Fanatec just now:
"Dear Mr Black,
The status of your order 1398617 placed on 01/01/2022 has changed to “warehouse processing“.
Our warehouse is currently preparing your shipment. Once it has left our warehouse, your tracking number will be visible in your account in your order details."
