It is a mystery how, after almost overimplementing Rome Circuit in GT3, PD took it out completely in GT4. I was never crazy about Rome Circuit, but I've always liked Rome Night.

I don't remember Green forest at all. Must be one of the rally courses that was removed.

I don't miss Rome in GT4...there's so many new tracks in GT4 it's mind-boggling. And yes, Green Forest is one of the rally tracks in GT2

The best on Any video game? Have you seen the new tracks on GT4? That's a big statement you got there!

It's got to be the Ring, to finally be able to drive round that course, virtually, is a dream come true.

Ohh the Autumn Ring, definatly... Cheeky ??****?... Whn I first started playing GT the High Speed Ring was my fav and I still enjoy a blast round there now, even in reverse.

HACKr
Yeah, but thats a real circuit. I meant the best original.

Define original... Grand Valley Speedway, the complete circuit.

Original as in real-life. That's what I gather.

Grindelwald, Red rock and rome night is sooo missed in GT4 by me. Fantastic coarses raced countless times.
We need more fantasytracks in next GT. So spend the talant on that than rather do the horrible rally once again. Bleh

A terrible thing happend when we were getting a new TV shelf and stripped the old one. Alot of stuff was going to the trash and by mistake a whole bunch of my PS1 games were lost. Amongst them GT2 *Cry* No way to play my tracks again.:(

Wow, that sux.

In my opinion, the best is Motor Sports Land, because is the only place where the Escudo can make a difference of 10 seconds (driving trough the grass9 against my Trueno (driving on the paviment)and the track hasn't almost any straightways.
The other one is SSR 5, nice turns and the high speed U-turn.

The other one would be Trial Mountain, nice turns to drift with my Impreza.

I liked the Rome Circuit in both GT2/3, and although it's missed in GT4, it's easy to forget about it.

A lot of GT2 rally and road courses never made it to any other GT game, and that's a big reason why I like going back to it.

i like quite a few tracks
red rock valley: fast and fun
rome night: also fast and can be tricky in a few corners
super speedway: reminds me of nascar
test course: fast
deep forest: classic
grand valley: same as deep forest
ss route 11 from gt1: hard track and also classic
high speed ring: another classic

test course: fast
super speedway: its like nascar
rome night: looks cool
red rock valley: fast also
seattle short: dont know i just like it
rome circuit: i like going by the colluseum
laguna seca: fun and challenging
grand valley speedway: classic
deep forest: same as grand valley
high speed ring: classic again
special stage route 11 from gt1: looks cool and very fun

Mine are:

1 Apricot Hill&Rome Night both fun and can both be challenging
2 Laguna Seca&Grindlewald same reasons as the ones on number 1
3 Tahiti Road for well ehh sentimental reason only:dopey:

Red Rock Valley-looks nice and is fun to race on
All Clubman's Stage Tracks (including) Special Stage Rt11-night life
Test Course-my test Track
Seattle Tracks-long and Short
Rome Tracks-long and short(including Rome Night)
Laguna Seca-Cork Screw section

There is more tracks but im too lazy to list them.

Tahiti Road woulda been even better had they programmed the sand at the side of hte road to make your car slip if you touched it! :scared: Instead, the sand becomes an extension of the pavement and there's no penalty for driving in it.

I've not played much GT at all in the last few weeks, but I'm contemplating going back to GT2. And I must admit, arcade-ish as it is, Red Rock Valley is the track I am most looking forward to seeing again.

And also Pike's Peak. Too bad the negotiations broke down. A more complete version might have been great in GT4.

Yeah Red Rock is such an awesome track. I'm currently deep in GT3, which has no banked tracks other than the Test Course and Stupor Speedway :( I'm glad they brought HS Ring back in GT4.

HYBRIDLVR you're playing with hybrids again??? I"m shocked! *sarcasm* :sly:

Yea, Still at it! I just can't get past the Ai cars drifting and doing 200 Plus mph, GT2 is my favorite because of that, A fair race is just so nice, And the replays, Don't get me started!
