With views I’ve expressed recently I’m perfectly happy, even more about how they were accepted, and thank you guys all for that 👍
But regarding odd comment here and there, let me just point out that my kind of competitive nature is not of any aggressive or ego kind (maybe a bit ). In races I never finish particularly high and I’m quite easy on giving up positions even if I start high up, ‘cuse we’re just guys having fun.
And after Tokyo Q when I saw that tune I found that same day was (for me) so good, pole good, I just posted a link to it so anyone could potentially use it in race – to have even more fun.
Anyway, everyone should continue enjoying these great Stephens’s championships as always – it was just my need and opportunity to express feelings of my own – I’m wired in such way that I would prefer to be 5 sec. slower per lap in totally identical car and specs, and then fighting each race (and enjoying) to make that 4.5 … 4… if I can. Because that provides me with 1000% identical base line for me to work for (not against unknown factors as individual tunes). Here cars are different, specs are different, tunes are different – and those different tunes need slight updates from track to track.
And I know most of you find that totally awesome and stimulating, and please know that I don’t mind that one little bit 👍
I just expressed some of my feelings, after other guys started doing same thing (only regarding hating or loving tracks like Le Mans, or such things) so, after that, I joined in as well with my own feelings I did not expect it would stretch out beyond just my little rant post… We got kinda stuck on that question “are there tuning aliens or only driving aliens” – but that’s fine, I think we cleared up that together – because with everyone praising how helpful Erazer is with helping everyone with tunes (as I have also praised him for his guide as soon as I’ve joined championship) it became clear there are ones that are doing tunes and tuning guides for other who need them 👍 AND very often difference in lap times that makes is greater than margins that we usually use to recognize someone as “driving alien”.
Also, Erazer, obviously you are not just double alien, but triple alien – because of your fair-play and friendship spirit :-*

I was planning on qualifying tonight but I ended going out with a few mates who I probably won't see much at all now in the future, plus I don't think any officials were on! Will anyone be on early tomorrow, preferably around 10/11 so I can do it before the GP?

Drivers must not drive in reverse of the track direction.
Officials Qualifying must be observed by other officials.

the official will create a room with the exact settings above.
He will ensure the car spec is correct.
He will then allow only the Q driver to enter pitbox.
He will start the 5 Lap Race

LAP2 - LAP 3 - LAP 4 - INDIVIDUALLY TIMED FLYING LAPS
5TH LAP SLOW DOWN LAP. THE OFFICIAL MUST
OBSERVE THE DRIVER THROUGHOUT THE FLYING LAPS
NOTE DOWN ANY TRACK LIMITS VIOLATIONS FOR EACH LAP
SAVE THE REPLAY IN CASE OF DISPUTE
ADD PENALTY TIME FOR EACH TRACK LIMIT VIOLATIONS PER LAP
POST THE BEST LAP FOR THE DRIVER ON THE FORUM

I admit I am not bad at GT500, however I do not know what makes me slower than the others (I softened the springs this morning which was a perfect idea, much faster than yesterday, however still slower than the others).
I had a chance to make an even better lap than a 43,7 during qualifying, however I span out at the last corner so my lap was done. Yes, I am so unlucky.
YES BUT EXTENDED AS I WAS CALLED AWAY TODAY AND OTHERS NEEDED EXTRA TIME TO Q AS I FAILED TO BE ON EARLY ENOUGH. STEWARDS AGREED TO EXTEND DEADLINE 60 MINUTES.
