 I don't get it  What I meant was tuner who never use ABS since GT5 ( 2010 ) :D I have some PSN friend from GT5 days that also never use ABS, some of them still active in GT6. Sadly, they almost never post in tuning section.
I dont use ABS in any of my cars anymore. I started to not use it about a month ago, and I think I have gotten a bit faster as a result in some cars, and it gas certainly helped me to increase my control with all cars.

So had what could considered an off beat idea for a tuning challenge so I thought I would toss out the general concept see if there is interest in it. Not sure if it was in GT5 or not, prolly was as it exsisted for 5 years so most ideas have been done already.

Basicly it's a co-op tuning challenge.
2 groups 2 or 3 cars for each group.
Tuners are paired up by lottery and than have to work together to tune to the car.
How the tuning is done which car is picked is up to each pair of tuners.
You can only tune one group.
You can not test the group you sign up for.
In the event of a odd number of tuners for a group. The odd man out can request tuning assistance from one of the tuners in group.
If both groups have an odd number the odd men in each group co-op on both cars in both groups. They get the option to test the group they didn't sign up for if they wish.

Thoughts?
General car/track would be a 475-525 PP Street car group, and 575-625 Tuner or Race car group.
Possible tracks
Street cars, Madrid, Deep Forest, Nur GP/D.
Race cars, Fuji GP, Nur GP/F, one of the RB tracks.

Sounds good, and challenging. It could work really well to see how people work in teams of people with differrent opinions.

IDK if you guys want to get involved or not but @praiano63 created another thread to link all of his tunes to because his garage page got locked. His new thread got locked by a stupid mod for no reason. the stupid mod told him to use his original garage page.

https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/praiano´s-tunes-links-just-for-the-fun-have-a-good-drive.323613/

and here is my report. you don't have to be as colorful lol, but it's actually kind of restrained for me

"if you want to know why @praiano63 left, this is it. MODS being a dick for no reason. His garage page is locked, again, because a mod wanted to be a dick. Explain how he's supposed to use it ?! praiano changed his first post and so the mod locked it because HE thought it wasn't useful anymore."

why should he have to apologize ? what did he do wrong in the new thread ? and how could he have reused his old thread ? and why were either of them locked officially ?

It's my understanding, and maybe I am wrong, that he said something inappropriate to daan and his thread was locked because he removed the links in the OP making it of no use to the community. Just the way I see, and it would be a peaceful resolution. Don't want you getting a wrist slap for attacking the mods.

That's not "no reason". That's duplication. If he wanted his links posting perhaps he shouldn't have blanked them from the thread in the first place and completely destroyed its purpose.
If you want to visit the new thread (with a fantastic photo of Senna btw) and report the mod its here.
And anyone doing so will get an infraction for abusing the report button. That is not its purpose.
why should he have to apologize ?
Abusing the staff.
what did he do wrong in the new thread ?
Duplicated the content of an existing one.
and how could he have reused his old thread ?
Asking.
and why were either of them locked officially ?
In the first one he blanked the post with all the tunes linked, which destroyed its purpose for looking for tunes and said he was leaving the site, destroying its purpose for asking for them. A thread without any purpose is eligible for locking. As it became a magnet for complaints from people who didn't want to inform themselves of what went on, it became even more useless - we didn't particularly want to have to tidy up after the belligerent (which would inevitably mean banning) in the wrong place.

The second one was a duplication of the first one that he made instead of asking the staff to reopen the old one. Duplicate threads are also eligible for locking.

We've already been over and over and over all of this. There's no need to sidetrack yet another thread for the topic.

@ImToLegitToQuit Calm your self man. @praiano63 got all hurt and rather than acting like an adult, he tossed a temper tantrum, the mods @Dann @Famine and the rest of the staff had to than act as mediators and did what was best for he site. Put out a small fire before it became a wild fire. If @praiano63 wishes he can come back, apologize to the staff for being a 🤬 and get his garage back. @Motor City Hami took a deep breath, stepped back and appars to becoming back slowly. Using the resources at his dispolisal provided by GTP. I hope @praiano63 does the same bbut only time will tell.

I know what it's like to deal with adults acting like children, 15 years of Call center work for TV companies, post office, ranging from general front line to Retention supervisor, it still amazes me how some adults can act like a 4 year old that didn't get their way.

I'm sure the staff are taking your suggestion in to consideration for the ability to allow a thread creator to allow or disallow a user on their ignore list to post in a thread they create. In theory it will reduce situations like what we have recently had. The ignored user could still create a second account and troll but I think the staff would pick up on that pretty fast and ban both accounts. 👍

I think you don´t know anything about me really, by the way i don´t look at any TV so i´m out of your competencies.. I´ll never be back in GTP. Anyway, write your psychological analysis the way you want.

This is my last post and i say everything here.

My car is the number #10 , i loose.

This was said awhile ago, it's a shame the reality is different :

Motor City Hami I don´t know what happen to you but this feeling happens with me some 2 or 3 times since GT5. Today it´s different, i just don´t care about people wanting to put some clouds into my virtual life.
Like i say all the time, we´re just fakes tuners of fakes cars ( at least for me) and we share our hard work because we love what we do and we have a lot of fun doing this.
I didn´t spend 52 years of my life trying to be a better person to let anybody ruin my day so easily.
Please continue to publish your excelent job. A lot of silent GTPlayers enjoy a lot the game because of this.
Let´s do a new unreleased shootout, let´s have fun Hami. Come on !!!

There's still a chance to get back, as @Famine said, just ask.

i don't think you understand. he does not want back. He cooled off and tried to edit his first post so people could easily find his tunes again. His thread was locked. he made another one, they locked it too. He doesn't want to apologize because he doesn't feel that made a mistake. He tried to fix the wrong he did when deleting his tune list and they are basically saying not until you say you are sorry first. this isn't kindergarten. they are holding their power over him until they get what they want, plain and simple. the black and white of it is that there was no duplication in the second thread of tune links and they locked it anyway. why would you come back to a site where trolls that you've already put on your ignore list can follow you into your own space and harass you as long as they don't swear. they spew about respecting his wishes to deny the community of his tunes but then when he realizes his mistake, they do not respect his wishes to allow his tunes. it's all hypocritical BS. I wouldn't want to come back either. I've got 1 tune that I said i'd do for someone and i think i'll move on too. as i said a few days ago, at least there's project cars soon. i can't speak for @Motor City Hami or @praiano63 but this is something i do for fun. when it's not fun anymore, why continue ? maybe i'll start Project Cars Planet. on second thought...PCP lol.

I do understand that he wanted to leave and never come back, but if he wanted to gain access to locked threads, he only needs to ask @Famine to do so. Simply ask, and not making more threads that also gets either deleted or locked.

https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/hostage.323919/#post-10457127

If you want to restore the first post again, you only have to ask.

I've got some more possibilities for you. Ask the staff to restore the first post and it'll be restored. Don't and it won't.

As for moving on, its your decision, do what you have to do 👍

Is "basically" used in this context to mean "not actually"? Only we haven't done that.
Just to be clear, he hasn't suffered any consequences - he deleted the OP of his tuning thread on his own, and when he's ready to return, we'll be happy to re-open the thread and can restore that post for him so people can resume talking about tuning cars.
I don't see how this can be that complicated. Nor this:

That's a good idea, maybe try to see if there was an interest with new tuners to be paired up with FITT regulars? I had an idea of tuning a 475pp-525pp car (car chosen from a list of favorites) and tuned for a track that runs forward and reverse. Just to see if the same tune can win both ways... It's a half baked idea, I know!

This is the 1st time it ( your post ) shows on my alert notification after you quoted me last time on this thread, if there were deleted posts, at least they should have showed up on alerts, don't they ?

From personal experience unless you're logged when a post that then gets deleted you won't be notified about it. Inactive on phone dosnt count. Now once you reload the page the notification goes away. But it still for some reason counts as a missed notification so you stop getting them till your tagged or quoted in that thread.

@Bowtie-muscle hey we could pair up on this one and hammer out the cars and track would only do one track and one group with it being a two way race.

I always logged in 24/7, it may have been missed by the alert system, too many at the same time perhaps :)

May I suggest Trial Mountain reverse, I used to spent a lot of laps there back in GT5, it's quite challenging to tune a car for or Red Bull Short, a new track that haven't been used a lot ( good for street car )

Tester running drift trial will be interesting, but will there be testers interested to do drift trial on many cars ? How many tries ? 5 tries average points ? Full lap drift ?

I'm not sure yet, as with any other event you don't really know how many are going to sign up until you put it out there, I think it could be fun and I hope a few others would give it a try. I think that a full lap drift gives a better account of a car personally but if the consensus is for sections then thats cool as well.
It could even potentially be a choose your own track event? All cars are given X amount of laps at Y circuit, scoring is done based on ranking (5 tuners = 5 points for highest score/1 point for lowest)

I am worried about the testers getting used to the car, giving 5 lap for example, we could only count the clean laps. Drifting someone else tune could be a foreign experience at first, and spin out or off track could be frequent on the the first few laps :) We can do DC too, how easy to drift the tune is or how consistent the car to get big angle and points :D

no, i have screen caps of multiple posts being deleted. even though I have not spoken of he who shall not be named, this will most likely be deleted too.

Its the same with any event though in terms of learning curve, the amount of laps could always be left up to the tester in the same way that its usually done, DC would of course be an important part 👍

Learning a new drift car is not really any different to learning a new race tune, some tuning styles will suit some drivers, some will suit others, some people will get massive scores, others not so much. Drifting in GT is one of the few aspects where all cars are equal, regardless of specification, as long as its got some power going to the back wheels and a handbrake then its in with a chance
