Cheers for that. By chance did you try racing brakes and a fully custom transmission...Or would that no longer make it a replica?
Stock brakes & Transmission = 1:08.6
Racing brakes & Custom transmission set @ 180mph = 1:07.8
That's with me at the controller though...

No, I didn't fit custom trans or racing brakes, it never came to my mind. It's too late for me to change it now :)

This tune is designed to be easy to drive and easy to control through the quick succession of corners that Monza has. Note to testers, for parabolica, you must slow down and enter the corner slowly then increase the speed gradually otherwise you will find yourself in the sand. Slow in and Fast out in the nature of this car for that corner. Good luck testers and I look forward to seeing what you make of this.

Tuned with ABS 1 only.

This tune is designed to be easy to drive and for driver comfort, certainly not a TT setup but it can be fast if you keep it smooth and precise. Clean laps are easy to achieve in this one but push it too far and it will hit a wall or two. This is definitely a tune for the masses, as opposed to a tune for the aliens among us. Hope you enjoy it guys. Looking forward to your reviews.

Having realized I have another car to start tuning I figured I should just stop tinkering and post the Ferrari already.

Long story short, messed up my SP1 tune by somehow not having it saved. Was slow anyway, and likely will not get it done on time. As for the Lambo, I had no time to try and tune it. So @Otaliema, you can scratch me from the list unfortunately.

Looks good. All linked up. But question if you blasted your hot lap with a different toe settings why change them for the challenge? :boggled:

Long story short, messed up my SP1 tune by somehow not having it saved. Was slow anyway, and likely will not get it done on time. As for the Lambo, I had no time to try and tune it. So @Otaliema, you can scratch me from the list unfortunately.
Sad to loose ya, you're marked out. But if by some miracle you get one you're happy with, post it.

Experimental settings - I just managed not to crash into anything on that lap. With the current settings I can go much quicker potentially. Also I feel like testers will have an easier time with the current settings.

There are certain benefits to having 1.00 toe don't get me wrong, but certainly downsides as well. I would have had to run more front toe which lowers braking performance and corner exit speed which is really bad in the quick left right chicane. Without more front toe and 1.00 rear the car tends to understeer horrendously in certain corners unless your entry is perfect.

Is it too late to make a change? If not I'd like to...
Nice lap!!
Yes it's too late to change the submitted tune, but you can change your published tune for your garage.

Tune looks good, in spec, linked up.

I have some sad news. My anniversary launch edition of GT6 has finally tanked. It just won't load. I've restored the file system, cleaned, buffed polished scratch removed and buffed again and nothing has worked. All of my other games load first time every time. I have to withdraw from the Reventon tune and testing.
I have a SP1 tune that will post in a day or so.

I think a new GT6 disc is about $15 on Amazon. :D
Gonna go digital next month, the GT6 disk failure rate is not acceptable in my book.
In nearly 20 years of playing playstation and Xbox this only disk that had failed on me and the failure report rates on the site are pretty high.

Need someone to check specs for you then? It would be before 10am and after 8pm CDST.

Mine tunes are close, probably finish tonight.

Failure reports on the Internet are high!? No way! But imagine how many discs haven't failed that you've never heard about.

I've killed more hardware than software.

I've also killed more Reventons than SP1 cars. Hard to be a Lambo fan with cars like these.

What kind of failure ? Unreadable disc caused by user mishandling like dirt, scratches ? Of all the game disc I have for PS3, none of them have reading issue, because I make sure they are not dirty or scratched. Maybe different region also have different quality of disc prints :) I know that some PS3 disc have different manufacturer origin ( country and disc brand ). My GT6 LE for example is made in japan ( both disc and paper materials )

It should be ok but wouldn't hurt thanks.

Yeah I've killed four PS3's in last two years.
I know of two or three people from Extre that had disk failures and there is a thread someplace here that has at least twenty.
GameStop (where I buy 90% of my stuff) said half the GT6 disks they get on trade won't load.

The PS3 reads the disk like normal, but never loads the disk.
There is minimal scratching due to kids but 90% of them got buffed out when I polished the disk.
It just won't read/load.
I can load any of the fifteen other disks and they all start up fine. So I know the PS3 is ok.
