hey did the offline practice get fixed when gt got updated, in terms of the times you get compared with online trying to do a bit of practice and when I loaded up GT it says can't access severs. I'm guessing it's something to do with that maintance you guys where talking about. Anyway is there any point me practicing on this or is it gona feel different when I go back online.

Theres no tire wear so I know that will make me faster, but is the handling gona be different online ect...... It feels pretty similar but I'm doin 1'35 I don't know if it's just having perfect tires or the offline practice mode......

Just got home all excited to get some GT5 only to find out that there is a maintenance up to 10PM PST(1AM EST). FML! Oh btw HAPPY BIRTHDAY outlaw! At least the maintenance will finally allow us to deactivate ANY ps3 from the PC or ps3. I have 3 activated PS3's that are now gone!

Edit: @Green Offline with tire wear ON is the same as online so you wont feel much difference. However, if you race with tire wear OFF then yes its gonna hurt you when you go to Online. Practice mode doesnt allow tire wear so dont use it. Use Arcade mode with tire wear ON, at least that's what i use.

Yeah went to arcade mode but had to do a race to get tire wear on, couldn't find the option in time trial. But I had some fun with the AI and after I got by them managed to get some hot laps in and was about a second slower. Anyway I'll just wait till 2moro to get some practice hopefully I'm not another second slower when back online.

Some of the corners in this track are very unforgiving lol, the difference between getting a corner right and ending up in the wall/grass is very fine.

Just when I actually start to like it, too. Haha. Unforgiving, yes. But now I've learned it well enough. Don't know how well it'll be raced on, still.

Anyway, I did a few pictures of practice at GV/R, since there was no PSN earlier. Had to show some of D1 (as well as a few others) on the track, since I don't have a replay of the actual race....

Edit: Track has changed slightly guys, so you'll have to re-download it from me. The configuration is the same but it's wider and the corners are stretched a bit. Overall it's easier, and you should adapt to it rather quickly.

FYI, I also have it downloaded so people can grab it from me as well.

To get a perspective on the new lap times, I ran a 1:34.3 which is about .8 faster than my previous personal best.

It's pretty much the same, just a few corners have been tweaked. I only had a quick go on it but some of the corners are slighty more forgiving which will be good come race day I think.

That was exactly what I was going for. I made some laps on it and decided that it needed to be wider for one, but making a couple tweaks to the corner sharpness helped as well.

Yeah I'm actualy having a practice in my lounge just now, I really like the changes 👍. Also did you change something around turn 8 and 9, It looks the same but something feels different I'm not sure if it's the camber on turn 9 or my mind playing tricks on me lol.

The tweaks I made deleted the rumble strips from the inside of turn 8, maybe that's what you're thinking of. One of the huge negatives about the course maker. Wish we could just put the rumble strips where we want. 👎

TBH is don't use the course maker much...I'm just not very good with it. But I would love to see a course maker where you could design everything like where the rumble strips are,how the grand stand looks, where the sand traps are, the type of terrain, building the track from scratch, planting trees, building walls, everything really that would be awsome. Then we could of made Spa and wouldn't of had to pay for it Lol.

The new version will have rumble strips on the inside of turn 1.
