When will you learn that "too early on the power" is NOT an honest mistake?

He deliberately does that to justify counter steering and pushing others wide.

Just wait for the after race... "I just lost the rear, just an incident"

In all honesty. Thats what Hungary does to a driver. Impossible to pass. When Pastor saw Paul run wide he was going to shove it in there with 4 wheels or none. I blame the track on this one. Maldonado was desperate

I and the stewards disagree, Maldonado notches up another drive through to add to his collection. Yes it's difficult to overtake but that doesn't excuse knocking a driver off course. He left room too.

Wouldn't Kimi's tyres fade by the end of the race, I think Hamilton is pacing the race as of now.

👍

I wonder whose tyres are going to drop off the cliff before the end - Webber is a likely candidate being on softs methinks.

In the past Kimi has faded in the closing laps because he destroys his tires. That combined with the lack of overtaking on this track is the reason I think Hamilton can win.

Drive thru penalty for what? I'm going to be the devil's advocate here and say that Pastor didn't deserve that penalty. The stewards can't go around throwing penalties at drivers for trying to overtake and making contact in the process. Di Resta wasn't even damaged from the incident.

Well, the past mistakes makes him a bad person now. I agree what Steve Slater said.
Not at least in my eyes. Getting on the power too early. Not that it's intentionally from my view. Adrenaline pumping high and all. Di Resta should have use the run-off and get back behind Maldonado for the DRS straight instead having risk being taken out by Mr. Crash.

But that is their job?

Di Resta lost a place, due to Idiot Boy not being able to race cleanly.

Unbelievable. :dunce:

Since when is punting the other guy off the track okay?

Last laps are getting interesting but still the dullest race for me.
Not that dull...maybe the same as Valencia race this season.

Valencia wasn't dull. It was downright atrocious! Alonso was winning..:sly:

Maybe retired for his advantage to be able to change gearbox without penalty.
I'm still confuse how it goes...

Maldonado's reputation gets the better of you again. If it were anyone else, people would be lashing out against the stewards for being counterproductive to the racing.

As above. A drive thru penalty is too harsh for that kind of contact. Granted, it's the least they can give him, but as far as I know, there is no rule similar to that which we have for online racing here on GTPlanet, where a driver must give back a position if gained through contact with another driver.
