And Oscar with 10 seconds.

Max penalty deserved
Oscar penalty deserved
No idea what Bottas could have done to avoid that collision, odd penalty

Man, Leclerc is flying. But they still basically need something to happen to Lando to have a chance at the WCC

Incoming 10 second penalties for Zhou and Albon.

EDIT: Zhou, not Yuki.

Zhou gets dinged, Albon gets no penalty.

Really dumb question: Are constructors points calculated differently than driver's points? Crofty keeps on saying McLaren wins the WCC if Norris takes the win, but as it currently stands, Sainz and Leclerc would score 28 points between them, which would leapfrog Ferrari to P1 in the WCC if they use the same points system.

Norris scores 25 with a win (26 now with FL). Difference going into this race is 21.

The scoring is the same, but Norris would also score 25.
Ferrari needs to outscore McLaren by 21 points (22? Not sure how it stands on the tiebreaker). As it stands, they would only outscore them by 3.

If a driver gets 1st pace, he gets 25pts for the WDC and the team gets 25pts for the WCC>

McLaren are on 640pts, Ferrari are on 619pts.
So at the current rate, McLaren will get 665pts which is more than Ferrari.

Ohhhh, ok. I guess I'm incredibly bad at math in the morning. Cheers.

No, points are exactly the same as drivers. It's just that each race the maximum score possible is 44, not 26, as there are two cars with points added together.
McLaren are 21 points ahead, and victory for Norris assuming Piastri doesn't score means they'll have 46 points more than Ferrari started the race with. If Norris wins, the most Ferrari can score with 2nd, 3rd and FL is 34, meaning McLaren win by 12 points.

With tie breaker, I assume the same rules for Dead Heat apply.
Most wins, if both have equal wins, most 2nd places, if most 2nd places are tied, If both have equal second places, most 3rd places.

I know the rules, just not where the teams are on those 😅
I assume McLaren has the advantage though.

Edit: They're actually equal on wins, so if either team wins they have the advantage (if Mclaren wins they have the points advantage anyway). If neither team wins, McLaren has the advantage on 2nd places.

I know Lawson said the wheel was loose, but how can a penalty be given if the FIA cant be 100% that it was not secured.

Lawson has the car dropped early, so he went early and the tire wasn't secure. He pits again but he will get a penalty for that.

Not sure, the wheel never came off so was it a danger?
Looked loose. He also was sent and then stopped.

Colapinto to retire.

10 second stop and go penalty for Lawson.

If you ignore the penalty that looked like the fastest stop of the year for Max.

Edit: They should give him 20s for insulting the stewards
Bottas puncture!
