He does deserve that if found guilty. But the red flag was thrown for him as he went past the tractor. Just remember that. If he sped, it was after that situation. Unless the FIA wanted him to slam the anchors on immediately and then he probably would have hit the tractor.
It was still double yellow.

Gasly is in the wrong but he will be used as a scapegoat for all of this. The timing of the tractor deployment needs to be looked at.
The FIA will use Gasly as a scapegoat, the drivers and the fans will point to the FIA and pretend Gasly did nothing wrong. A lot of noise will be made and nothing will change. Just another chapter in the book of modern F1's constant state of crisis.

You're missing the point. He isn't being investigated for speeding under double yellow, he's being investigated for speeding under red flags, which can't have been at the point he arrived at the scene as it was double yellow until he got to the tractor. He will have been running to the SC/yellow flag delta on his wheel, if no one has told him there's vehicles on the track, he won't be expecting it.

It would be the most Latifi thing ever to finally finish in the top 10, but to not score any points for it

If Perez passes Leclerc, Verstappen will only require 1 point next race to get the championship, and that's assuming either Leclerc or Perez wins with FL. If neither does it's over anyway.

Seeing the lights that are around the track from the OBCs, Suzuka would make a brilliant night race if they upgraded the floodlights.

Well we missed an epic finish between Fernando and Seb. Bloody rubbish direction as usual.
