Please sack Latifi now. Don't wait, he's not only a liability to Williams, but he's a hazard to other drivers.
 
What is it with these minute+ delays before SC is deployed? Once or twice you could put it down to indecision, but now it's seeming deliberate when it's obvious one is needed.

I wouldn't say it's obvious now, but the delays are getting ridiculous, yes

Looks like it was waiting until they could actually collect the leader.

Most likely it was indecision while they worked out if the car could be cleared with hands (VSC) or a tractor (SC). With the wheel damage, that needs a tractor.
Of course, at a normal club event that car can be manhandled under double yellows and it would have been cleared before the SC was even called, buuuuuut FIA...

That never used to bother them though, they called them right away in years gone by and still do so in practice sessions.
