Intro movie and logo revealed

This is how everything works: For every practice you send me a setup. If you do not send me a setup, I'll simply use your setup from the last race. After each practice you are allowed to send me a new setup for qualifying and the race if you so wish. This new setup must be sent to me before the day of qualifying. If not, I will simply continue using the last setup you used for your car. The setup you choose for qualifying will also be used in the race. This process repeats itself every round.

Don't have a helmet livery yet :indiff:, will try to make one before the actual race. I'll give you my set-up before the end of the day since I have some basic knowledge of tuning.

Well, here's mine finished up:

Jekyll and Hyde Test Leaves optiongamers on Top
6/3/14 by @Earth

The first of two hour test sessions went by somehwhat quietly, with optiongamers leading the way, and yabiggooose not too far behind. It was almost as if there were two classes of cars on the track, with two cars running lap times 3-4 seconds faster then the others. optiongamers and yabiggoose clearly separated themselves from the pack as early favorites, but the other drivers can still close the gap as the season progresses. Either way, the battle for 3rd looks to be very competitive.

The only disturbance in the first session was goofytyler losing the backend of the car coming out of turn 4 and slamming the inside wall, ending his run early.

Practice 1 Results:
Ambient Temp: 75
Track Temp: 82

The second one hour practice session is when all hell broke loose.

yabiggoose was the first out of the pits and nearly went straight off in the first corner. The car was suffering from severe understeer as it plowed through the corners until a minor off destroyed the front wing. yabiggoose continued on until going off again on the same lap and this time knocking the car out for good.

For a moment it looked as if oil were all over the track as cars that looked somewhat stable in the first session were sliding all over the place. Then, a large crash at pit exit. goofytyler was rejoining the track from pitlane when a speeding optiongamers had little time to react resulting in the two cars colliding at high speeds, destroying both.

As a result of the crash, it was decided that the session would be restarted in order to make sure all the teams got valuable track time. yabiggoose would not take part in the restarted session, as the car's setup was declared unsafe and a hazard to himself and others. I decided not to run my car in the second session.

It wouldnt take long before the carnage began again. Both goofytyler and Mega Umbreon struggled mightily with a loose condition resulting in both cars making contact with the wall, finishing their day. Only optiongamers and BKGlover ran trouble free for the rest of the session.

Practice 2 Results:
Ambient Temp: 74
Track Temp: 75

Aas a result of the poll, a second test will be run Friday and the season begins Monday with the practice at the Australian Grand Prix, with qualifying and the race on Thursday.

Twitter Update (@LBM50FORMULA-B):
Thoughts & prayers go out to all the drivers who were involved in the wrecks today during testing. Good luck to all the other drivers that will be testing later this week. #Keepcalmandraceon!

This is a brill idea! Would love to take part myself, but I don't have the time right now to be fully committed to getting setups sorted. Will watch eagerly however!

Just wanted to be clear with you guys, theres no need to switch setups every practice or race. If you enter a car and give me just one setup, I will use that one setup for the rest of the season if you never give me another. Changing your setup as the season goes along is done if you want to try and find more speed, but it isnt necessary.

... or if you want to place a feline amongst a common and winged species... I'll take 0 downforce with the extra long gearing please! (and to be clear - I don't actually want to ruin a good idea by adding a crash magnet to the field!)

Gerarghini Emerges as Contender in Final Jerez Test
6/6/14 by @Earth

And then there was 3.

Three cars have clearly separated themselves over the course of 4 hour long tests at Jerez. Those 3 are optiongamers, yabiggoose, and Gerarghini. The rest of the field has struggled to come to terms with the champcar chassis, wicked oversteer and instability into hairpin corners has cost the rest of the field valuable time.

swiftsmith was second fastest in the first action for that car, and MadFlavour on his heels as third fastest, also the first laps that car has run as well. After showing decent pace on Day 1 of testing BKGlover found himself struggling to find a balance and speed in the car. The car looked wicked to drive as it twitched violently around the corners.

Test Day 2 Practice 1 Results:
Ambient Temp: 75
Track Temp: 81
YPLiSk3.jpg

The second one hour practice session featured just two cars, with Gerarghini once again leading the way. The only drama of the session came when BKGlover's struggling chassis broke loose coming out of turn 4, a problem spot for many over the testing, and made contact with the inside wall. The car suffered only minor damage and continued.

Practice 2 Results:
Ambient Temp: 76
Track Temp: 83

Combined Practice Results (All 4 sessions)
81.299 - optiongamers
81.390 - optiongamers
82.278 - yabiggoose
82.654 - Gerarghini
85.565 - BKGlover
85.574 - MegaUmbreon
85.674 - Gerarghini
85.820 - swiftsmith
85.960 - goofytyler
85.831 - BKGlover
86.029 - MadFlavour
86.156 - Earth
86.833 - BKGlover
87.084 - BKGlover

Well, there you have it. Testing is finished. From now on its very much for real. The teams will be in Australia for the first 60 minute practice session in just 3 days. Three drivers, @Jahgee1124, @RACECAR, and @Dustone have yet to turn a single lap in their new cars. Will they be behind at Australia or will they show up and shock the world? Either way, the time is counting down to practice at the Australian Grand Prix on the 9th, and the race on the 12th.

Still need a setup, any setup from @Jahgee1124 and @Dustone to put their cars into the field. Guys, you cant race without giving me a setup. I just need one setup and your good for the entire season, you dont have to change it.
