Formula GT Lottery

Your chance to win a Formula GT !!!!

How It Works:-

1, You Buy into the lottery with any 500,000 credit car (Nascars)
2, Once i recieve the car i sell it and create the fund pot.
3, I will add your name onto this thread as a ticket holder
4, on Sunday 8pm UK time, i will create a list of all ticket holders in a random
order. I will email this to an Admin (volenteer please) at 8pm.
5, Before the Admin opens the email with the list, he will pick a number
between 1-(number of enteries). He will then open the email and will see
who won the car.
6, I will then post the Formular GT to the winner:).

Ticket Holders...

To come..

and you will keep all credit? one must be stupid to fall for this one.

Why don't you use a random number generator? Thats what I am doing with my lottery in the Infield section (premium forum).

I've seen and read some nonsense on forums, but this one is a top contender to the WTF Awards?!... Did you actually think this through before you posted it? And what were you on when it crossed your mind that this was a good idea for anybody involved besides you? And lastly, out of morbid curiosity, you mentioned admin, so did you actually get a mod or admin to sign off on this? lol...

If you want to do something nice for people, and you seriously get a mod to sign off on it, I will donate a FGT... But it's not to go to a reseller or someone who already has one... And you, Chalky101 can't get any financial (vehicle / paint / horn / tires etc etc ) gain from it...

That would work, but still need to email the list to the admin (as they are trusted types)

I would first organise it with them as they might not want to be involved.

The idea was that it takes the average working person a long time to grind for a top car. A lottery style comp would give anyone who wanted to enter a chance to win that dream car they wanted... for a relative small buy in, pooled together those cars have value and create the top price. Admin envolment would be great, maybe GTP could set this kind of thing up for a weekly draw??? Again, just ideas to create something new...

interesting thoughts. I would love to see exactly 19 people join. The 20th entree would be the sucker to donate 500,000 to the OP...LOL

You cannot sell race cars, RM cars, Rally cars and Prototypes but you can sell all the others even if they where gift cars

And the cars are worth 1/4 of their inicial value

kubel wagons?

It would take roughly 70 Kubelwaggons to come up with the money for the FGT... Factoring in the million you need right away to repair the engine and the chassis so you can drive the bloody thing...

So we need 70 suckers to start farming 1944 or 1946 for Kubelwaggons... :sly:

Sorry for the off topic but this got me curious

When I got my FGT it was a pain to trail brake into corners as the rear could unstabilise, so I tuned most of that problem out with suspension settings and started trail braking with a little throttle remaining and it stopped the problem.

However, if I chassis refreshed instead would that have removed the problem I described above?

I cant say for sure. But one way to counteract this problem is change the braking setting on the diff. Also, changing the other 2 settings help solve the cars problem of easilly spinning out in 3rd gear cornering :).

I think the OP means well but it just came out sounding dodgy as sh't.

Maybe if someone donated a FGT every so often there could be some kind of lottery for the people who are struggling to find one or who have lost game saves etc... It's not a terrible idea just sounded a bit scammy.

Indeed. Find an Admin Member willing to recieve the cars and upon the lottery draw give them out also? Very trustworthy idea :).

Well it depends on your driving style, BUT the FGT is wack out of the UCL... In order to get it's maximum performance, you have to repair both things... Which blows because so many people grinded to get the 4.5ish million dollars to buy the damn thing... It's still drivable, don't get me wrong for those that haven't got there yet, but it would've solved quite a bit of your proble,s that you are describing above... You pretty mch answered your question by stating you had to trail brake with a little throttle remaining to get her to stop being so squirrely with the rear... That wouldn't have been as noticeable with the repairs...

I only changed Overhauled the engine and its pretty driveable. Grudged spending an extra 500k considering the cost of the car. I just got used to it. It's ok to drive but you're telling me it will be awesome if i improve the body :embarrassed:?.

I probably wouldn't be qualified to answer that question, I took one look at the oil and knew that the car had to be repaired, lol... I've driven a car (not FGT) I think it was either the BMW V12 or BMW GTR Race Car, and it drove like SHIET out of the UCL... The oil was black and the car shook and shuddered like it was having a mini seizure... FGT I already knew it had to be tweaked, so i did it right away... Some people suggest gouging it out the first few races, the FGT is constantly needing to be repaired, after 3 or 4 races, it's actually quite annoying...

Okay and we have officially thread jacked... :dopey:

i think we better stop? i grudge paying 1,000,000. Even tho i got it on a trade!. i'll stick to having to fight the bloody thing :P.
