A 4k patch for Forza Horizon 2 would be the best E3 news I could possibly imagine.
As patch for Horizon 2 - unlikely. As a firmware upgrade for X, possible.

Rerelease of Horizon 2 and Horizon 3 maps as expansions for Horizon 4 will be awesome, even without seasonal stuff.

I like the Apollo. It currently is my favourite car. & I thought until the Gumpert Apollo comes into this game I made my Intensa look similar to the Gumpert in TDU2 with the orange paint job & stickers. I put a V8 in this one to for old times sake of the Gumpert Apollo. It can be also found in designs area with some different colours I did for this car.

I finally won one, too, though I feel like the Centenario I used to finish the Trial might be more fun to drive than the prize itself. Even in the rain it slices through racing lines like a scalpel.

Funny thing about how I won: round 1, I notice that three of the drivers on my team are 4/5-star racers, as in literally hundreds of levels above me (I'm currently 2-star/250ish). I figure, great, experienced drivers, they'll not only pick up the slack, they'll run roughshod on the drivatars. Nope: they all fishtailed haplessly, hit assorted traffic/trees/each other, and all three of them quit after the first race. Us remaining three then squeaked by the drivatars in round 2, and won by a nothing-in-the-rearview margin in round 3. Go figure.

Hell, put Horizon 1's map in there to complete the trilogy :)

Didn't they do that for basically all the other Horizons besides the 2nd?
Before they were delisted from store. Horizon 2 was delisted last year, so it doesn't make much sense for them to update it.

Its too much outdated, remaking it would be almost like making new map from scratch.

Incorrect, The original Horizon received its enhancement patch after it was delisted (around 4-5 months later).

Never depend on randumbs no matter how high their levels are. I prefer to judge based on how well they perform/finish.

It was delisted in October and Xbox one x was released one month after that, while FH2 was delisted in October 2018 and there isnt any sign that we will get 4k patch for it.

It did get a patch to make it compatable with XB1 backwards compatibility shortly before it was delisted

I haven't tried for the Apollo and have yet to do one of the co-op/team events. I'm curious to try, but I'm now over level 150, so I'm thinking if I sign in others may think, "Great, someone who should be good at this," and--especially since I'll be new to it--I then prove them very wrong. Out of curiosity would someone who has mainly been playing on Pro but mostly sticks to A-D class cars likely stink up the co-ops or possibly do all right?

As for the other Spring seasonals I got several; last season's PR stunts were beyond me.

As for FH2 I saw the XBox One version go on sale for a few dollars not long before it was delisted, so at least I got it. I was also glad to learn FH1 became backwards compatible. I still haven't played FH3, though.

Finally, a small pet peeve I want to voice somewhere. Did they have to make the classical station dj an overly cliche stick-in-the-mud? Sure, some people are like that, but I know a number of classical (and jazz) musicians who also love cars and driving. (Disclosure: I went to music school before switching to an ever-so-slightly more practical field). Besides that, for a music-and-car-fest theme PG could license or commission a lot more and better music.

From the few I've played, Trials are quite tactical but most players are completely oblivious to that. Good drivers who don't understand how the AI works get frustrated that slower drivers can't keep up, while making it worse by opening up the gap which makes the AI go even faster (with their extremely cheaty speed boosts that come out of nowhere)! I personally race until I get into a position where we could feasibly win on points if enough humans catch up to me and then start blocking the AI to give the humans a chance to close the gap, I've had reasonable success with that so far.

Car selection is also important so you might fail once or twice just by picking a bad car since you can't see what the Trial races are going to be after the first one - you can't change or tune your car at any point (which makes the tuning preset feature totally pointless IMO) so you're stuck with your first pick.

At the end of the day, though, if you can take corners and pass cars without smashing into them you're already better than like 75% of the players you'll be racing with.

Oh and no one sensible pays any attention to your level, without knowing how long you've had the game, how much Mixer you've watched and how many times you did the Goliath exploit it's totally meaningless. I was level 10-ish with four stars when they nerfed Mixer idling, did the Goliath exploit a few times before they fixed it and then bought my last few Autoshow cars and I'm now like level 90 with four stars IIRC - that would've taken a week of Mixer idling but because I basically only do Festival Playlist races now my rate of progress through the levels has entirely stalled.

I booted up Horizon 4 for the first time in a while and was luck enough to get the Apollo on my 3rd try. Although, if I'm being honest, the car really doesn't seem to live up to the hype. Sure, it's funky looking, has some oddball paint options, and is very very fast, but it doesn't have enough going for to really make me think it was worthwhile, especially in comparison to other high-end cars like the Mosler, 599XX Evo and even the MC12 Corsa.

I just noticed that the 2018 MINI JCW has Union Jack as tail light cluster. Very unique!

Hmm, the Apollo already beat two of my PR Stunt records without me even trying. I'd say it's superior in terms of downforce and speed combined.

Thanks. That makes sense with the AI. I'm not familiar with the exploits you mentioned. I haven't used Mixer, but I did notice that the top custom blueprints are oriented toward easy wins and points rather than challenging stuff. I'm a little confused by that and player's grinding, but I had a lot of credits and perks from the Forza Hub and other games from the outset.

I tried some multiplayer stuff earlier tonight. I did the playground games, which was fun. My team won all the rounds, but after a couple events all but two on the other team quit. I think the ones who stuck with it despite losing and outnumbered should get something special.

But then I tried the unranked free for all. For the first set--street races-- I made the mistake of picking a car that was just over 900, then saw everyone else was at 997-999. So I was at towards back the whole time, passing those who collided. So I stuck around for a second set, dirt races, and encountered my first FH player being an arse. I stuck with the series but would have liked a way to block or vote to kick, but I didn't see it. After that I'm mixed on doing it more.

Also, I could use shorter multiplayer races rather than a series like that. One of the reasons I tend to avoid online in any game is that I may be interrupted, especially when I'm on call for disaster assistance (like I will be tomorrow).
