Nope, it was actually a real thing Mini did for their new cars.

Won it easily using the Senna, Stock power with AWD and weight reduction.

Same, although it was on my third try - used the exact same car and setup. Decided to go with something slower and and easier to drive, then just be super-aggressive in the corners (it's AI, so who cares).

First two tries were with the LaFerrari, and I just found it a little too hard to keep on the road. Especially that first race.

S2 is the bane of my existence in general, if I'm honest. It's even worse because I play in 4k30fps on Xbox One X, and the lack of frames makes it really hard to control faster cars sometimes. Then you throw in rain, nighttime, and regular traffic on the road...

I have a question for GTP members, but do you think that there is a rain penalty for slick tires in FH4?

I saw this opinion in reddit. The man who made this post claimed that cars equipped with slick tires in stock, like extreme track toys, will lose grip when it is raining.
Do you think FH4 has such a penalty?
I'm skeptical of this guy's opinion because I'm not very aware of these changes, but if it's true, I'll be rethinking the car I'm using in a heavy rain race like this week's trial.
Please tell me your opinion.

ps: I have already achieved this week's trial and own Apollo.

and I won an Apollo out of pure dumb luck. It looked like I lost all 3 races because I was being an idiot wrecking at every turn and 2 other knuckleheads couldn't beat a single AI car. In spite of that and having less points, we still won 2 of 3 rounds.

The 2nd DLC better be bloody amazing given how long we've waited for even a hint of news. I don't even play the game anymore and the amount of time between the 2 is making me seriously reconsider buying the season pass for the next game (if there is one, and a season pass is offered).

They keep adding fewer and fewer cars each update. And as interesting as the rimac may be, it's the only one of them that is really new. What a laziness... I only hope the expansion won't be as deceiving

Ghibli has been confirmed by dev build for a long time. And this car was a normal lineup in FH3.
I think these facts are the reason why you made a mistake.
