I can see how they could see it that way. But there are four easy rebuttals to the argument that allowing the use of other peoples' decals in shared liveries would ruin the game's economy:I think this dates back to older Forzas, as I believe back then, people were able to make healthy amounts of credits off their liveries (probably still can to date, never bothered to check). I suppose, the idea was/is to keep people from using a combination of using others' work (since the vinyls/logos/etc. are free) & then trying to share the livery for money. I still feel the easiest solution to this is for the system to recognize you have "3rd party decals" & therefore, whilst you can share the livery, the system will not allow you to gain any cr. for each download.
a) creating a nice livery isn't only a matter of creating the necessary logos;
b) people can always not share vinyl groups if they don't want others to use them;
c) most of the painters who actually put effort into their livery don't because of however credits they may get;
d) the most downloaded liveries are all of the carbon-fiber-with-neon-rims variety anyways. Allowing people to profit off logos they've downloaded from the Sharefront would only improve the (at the current model, absolutely abysmal) situation.
