Is the XJ220C body kit (on the Forzathon Shop thumbnail) new? Can't recall seeing it before in a Forza game.

You heard it folks. The Delorean from FM4 is back and ready to hit the big open world of FH5! Let's go baby!!! :D

Btw, WHAT A GREAT STREAM! Full of fun, personality and overall joy. You gotta love PG for who they are. :embarrassed:

Festival Playlist Season 1 of FH5.

Some of these cars are already in the confirmed car list, I wonder if they are placeholders or are actually exclusives? We'll soon find out but the AE86, Aston Martin DBS, Subaru 22B and Radical RXC were all in the list confirmed list before todays stream. Now there labelled as exclusives here. Confusing.

If they are putting the AE86 in a Forzathon playlist you're gonna have a lot of pissed off people. Probably rightfully, this time around.

Exclusives were still part of the car list for FH4 too, iirc, it just wasn't clear on if they were exclusive or available from the start.

I do like that they now show how many points each Forzathon challenge gives you and it seems like it's all points based now instead of percentage. Hopefully that means exclusives are easier to get.

I hate to be that guy but the character customisation still seems a long way behind what EA game face was offering over ten years ago. Where are the options to modify facial characteristics such as distance between eyebrows and nose size? By Tiger Woods 14 you could even import photos to use as the basis of your avatar. Oh well.

To be quite honest, I'd much rather they focus on car modelling and such rather than character customization. Can just go back to the FM7 way of race suits and such and not even having to bother with facial modeling or even pre-FM7 where there was 0 character customization?

I've never been much of a cheevo chaser since I rarely have the time or inclination to do a lot of the multiplayer stuff that most games demand, but I feel pretty confident that I could 100% FH5 now -- or at least confident that I'll have fun trying.

I skipped through it and oof -- I'm glad they've got culturally diverse characters but they all look young and fit again, and it doesn't even appear there's an option for facial hair styles. Guess this'll be one of those games where I make my avatar into a completely fictional character instead of picking one to look like me.

I'm really glad that one character all the way in the bottom is making a return. Since FH3, he was my main. Now in FH5, he will once again be main. ;)

Oh, and my opinion, I don't think the character customization needs to go too deep if this is what is on offer. I kinda like the simplicity of it with new stuff added on top of it. NFS Heat also did this as well, but unlike that game, you can do more with your character with pronouns and such.

Considering you get a very loud minority of people who decry any sort of character building in racing games in accordance to adding 'more realism', I can see why they don't go full hog with it, but I'm also disappointed that it all seems to be mostly surface level stuff, and still skewing young and beautiful. And yeah, if they're not adding facial hair then that's pretty laughable. I'd really like to know the reason why they couldn't add facial hair options.

Sooooo....now that our boy the DeLorean is back. What are the odds of it having a body kit? For me it's low, only because of I don't want to expect it having one, only to be presently surprised it does indeed have one and that PG were keeping it under wraps.
also I don't know who this spiv character is but I think it's safe to say that they wouldn't pull this bit if Mazda wasn't in

Dang straight! PG are having too much fun messing with the fanbase, but some of us already knew Mazda was never going to leave Forza. Why would it? lol

Also, great to see Tommy Bargains again. Man has so much character and personality haha.

Lets be real, considering how most every Forza game since FH3, for one reason or another, has had at least one major OEM step out of the licensing circle, people have good reason to be worried about losing BMW, Mazda, or what have you. And really, a lot of this worrying would probably stop if they didn't drip feed the car list the way that they did, and only partially, too.

I mean, I'm not saying people shouldn't be worried. They have every right to. I'm just saying those like myself aren't too worried about there exclusion. Although seeing the people on edge is kinda entertaining (to me), to say the least. ;)

A 42pt acquisition chart for those who hate PvP/PvE as much as possible.

  • Complete Weekly challenge: 5 pts
  • Complete all Seasonal Championships: 15 pts
  • Complete all Seasonal PR Stunts: 6 pts
  • Complete Photo challenge: 2 pts
  • Complete Monthly Rivalry: 4 pts
  • Complete all daily challenges: 7 pts
  • Play Seasonal Playground or Horizon Arcade: 3 pts each

Unfortunately, 42pts is the equivalent of an 80% reward in FH4, which makes playing some kind of online multiplayer mode a must.
But if you play like this chart, you can avoid playing PvP or PvE whenever possible.

The XJ220 body kit is a wonderful surprise. They look great in yellow.
Maybe this is a different model.
PG tends to abbreviate car names in their playlists and such, plus this XJ220S appears to have different bucket seats than the stock XJ220.

Twerkstallion and the Mazdaspeed 3 are back!

But the 85' RX7, RX3 and Cosmo are gone.

Surely to be shuffled back into the Forzathon which is incredibly unfortunate.

Also, why is there still no new Miata? It's been around for years now, and if they are going to add it via paid DLC (which I have a feeling they will) then that's just pathetic.
