Mine seems fine on Steam

I used to run the game off an HDD and since I moved to a PCle SSD to be expected the game runs and loads so much better. No graphical enhancement ofcourse but game loading and instances of slow terrain loading (Especially with Jumps) have pretty much gone

Whenever theres an update (and almost every time the game does the Optimizing PC thing on launch) the game always seem to change my graphical settings and effects my performance. So the first one or two times I play after an update I always got to try and remember what I had it to. I really should screenshot them.

I don't see how going to HDD can do anything but get even worse results.

Edit - Also to anyone who knows. With the Oreo Pagani promotion. I received an Xbox and Steam code via E-Mail. Can both be used? I have used the Steam one but if anyone wants a Xbox one I'll post here (Although I Imagine most of you have the Zonda by now) 😊
I'll happily take an Oreo code, if still available.

If anyone else has an Oreo code please.....
Sorry. 😩

You could have used this and just done it but I think the promo ended yesterday.

I feared that the gearshift glitch would be quite bothersome this week, but fortunately It was not the case (no excuses for not fixing it ASAP though).

Nice, It wasnt as bad as it first seemed but its great to see them rolling out a fix so quickly. Especially considering its a Bank Holiday Monday in the UK.

Quite interesting that this tiny patch is actually 3.2GB. I wonder what else they threw in to today's patch?

I don't think there was anything meaningful in there, PG just always include all of the car sounds in every update which adds gigabytes to the download size. It's such a waste of bandwidth as the sounds haven't changed.

About the unchanged sounds:
Can't they just swap sounds? I mean, for example, the M3 E46 and Fairlady Z Z33 have misplaced sounds. It's not even a complex job, as it takes a few minutes to just drag the correct file, and done! Bug fixed.

I'm referring to that one that got closed permanently.

The new oval is pretty cool, but I wish it had a more interesting infield. Would be cool to make something like the Daytona road course or something.

To be honest, it makes me wish they would add more tracks every season rather than cars. I feel like we've been running the same few races over and over again. There needs to be some new races. I would assume it would take less time to create a track than modelling a whole car too

Have you tried eventlab? There are many weird creations but also loads of races which use different roads from the game events.

On the subject of getting cars from wheelspins...

From this wiki list, I can only see a small number of legendary cars that can only be obtained via wheelspins:

Impreza 22B
Huayra BC
McLaren F1
Twin Mill
CCGT
XJ220
Ferrari #24 330

It has been reported on Reddit that when you get a legendary car from a wheelspin it will always be a car you don't own, if there are any you don't own. My experience doesn't contradict this.

I've never received any of the first 4 cars in the above list from a wheelspin. I have received the last one, and the 5th and 6th I've bought from the AH, so wouldn't expect it to give me those until I have them all now. On the other hand, I have every legendary car that can be obtained from both autoshow and wheelspin except one.

The other notable fact is that the Impreza 22B is almost never available in the AH. I've repeatedly searched quite a few times without there being any listed.

What I'm getting at is: Is there believed to be a difference in probability of getting specific cars of the same rarity from wheelspins? You're definitely much more likely to get lower rarity cars, there is one specific car I know I've had at least 7 times from wheelspins. But is the Impreza 22B, for example, particularly unlikely to be given out in wheelspins? It just seems odd, otherwise, that I've had so many legendary cars from the pool of those that can be obtained from both autoshow and wheelspin while only getting 1 of the 7 from the pool of legendary cars that can only be obtained from wheelspins. And the 22B is almost never in the AH whereas the XJ220, for example, can be bought fairly cheaply.

I've tried a few races outside of the ones showcased in the weekly seasonal races, but very few of them are similar to the quality of the original races made by Playground Games. In addition, you can't do Horizon Open races with them

Absolutely couldn't think of a livery idea for this thing, I'll have another crack at it tonight perhaps. It doesn't really help that I lost my first attempt by accidentally deleting all the vinyl shapes!!!

That simple look is quite nice on it to be fair.

Okay, I got the 22B from a wheelspin today. I suspect it is after all just random selection from the pool of legendary cars you don't already own.

The reason there are none on the AH is most people can only sell them for 2.1m, whereas the market value is 20m, they sell at 20m when legendary tuners and painters list them. The result of capping the selling price at 1/10th of the market value is nobody sells them.

it won't be playable in the base Forza Motorsport reboot.
It will but as DLC
They said that they removed from BASE game ie. we will put it as DLC or CarPass

Been liking the whole road course in the stadium. Let me put you on a time warp showcasing last May's content (2 paid DLC cars and the latter playlist car, the SF90 Stradale)

What is the setup for SVT? i wanted a good oval setup that keeps the bodyparts looking like a NASCAR car the most póssible but for some reason the ones i had found make the car drift instead

like i had spined a lot into the waslls with this car

Yes and the same is true for FH4. You will always get a legendary you don't own yet. Even when you sell a legendary car it will come in wheelspins unless is a playlist, story or barn find exclusive.

Some cars can be auctioned for 20 mil even if you are not a legendary.

Not that I agree with legendaries being able to list for that much, but even other tiers of painter can list cars for slightly more money. For instance, I think if I throw one of my paints on a car I can list for about 100-150k more CR.

I finished in first place in two out of three Trial races for the first time ever, and I can't even bask in that glory because we lost as a direct result of the rest of my team being spectacularly incompetent. At one point one of my teammates just did a full-on 180 on a straightaway about three seconds before the braking point for a medium left turn, and went on to finish dead last in all three races. (He had an AR12 team tag and drove a Supra with a Fast & Furious livery, in case you're interested in some potential typecasting.)
