I love these new billboards littered around the map. On the one hand, Stellantis is getting their PR money’s worth. On the other hand, they’re all advertising cars that are long out of production.

I'll be honest, I am completely OK with that!

I'm of the opinion that ads for things that are no longer being actively sold, or even made, instantly become art pieces. So in essence, these billboards are just adorable car art (c-art?) gallery exhibits!

I did some research on why "Turbo" is banned.
There was no Turbo in ADL's hate symbol database.
When I looked it up in Urban Dictionary, I found examples of using it for some illegal drugs and for discriminatory expressions against blacks, gays, and women.
The latter is probably why Microsoft banned Turbo, but I think this is a bit overkill.
I don't endorse hate or illegal drugs of any kind, but this would be like banning the word "shot" in fps because it's a cannabis trade jargon. Restrictions on common words are ridiculous in a game where the chances of the word being used in the proper sense are almost 100%.
Forza doesn't control the word filter, and since Xbox serves a wide spectrum of games and markets there may be a reason a word is blocked that doesn't make sense to Forza players. If you hit a blocked word please report it here:
We can then communicate to Xbox to see if they're able to remove the word from their block list.

I wonder if it could be because one of the chems in Fallout is called Turbo (all the chems are based on real world drugs)

Thanks, done.

Building an S2 Italian hypercar that is only used in PR stunts, especially speed traps, is a pain.
I used GTz Marple's 998 tune for the F40C. I did need to show some of the PR stunts a bit of respect and start from a decent distance away. I used the same car and tune for the Hot Wheels PR stunt and seasonal championship.

For the Trial, I grabbed ugrundy's Trial/Aero/V10 tune for the Maserati GT-S, and easily won both races. Having used it for that, I stayed in the same car for the Rally Adventure PR stunt and seasonal championship.

That was quite a lot of playlist points for just getting a couple of tunes for 2 cars.

The Aventador is maxed out (and it doesn't even go near S2 998): The speed trap and the danger sign fell rather easily.

For the speed zone, the FXX Evo is at maximum downforce so you can get out of the wide U turn at max acceleration.

But probably the easiest way is just purchasing the Bugatti Divo, and forget about the SF90, pretty to look at, but drives like butt.

I'm not at all surprised that it was changed that way, considering Fallout is part of Bethesda, and you guessed it, it's part of Microsoft.

Divo isn't Italian (at least not this car or name in that regard). Bugatti is listed as France, so it wouldn't qualify. The whole series is Italian-focused so, I dunno.

Yeah, you are probably right. I mentioned the Divo because I used it for the speed trap in the Hot Wheels track. My opinion on the SF90 stands.

I know I'm in the minority on this but the SF90 is slowly growing on me. I'm finding I'm using it more and more on the Hot Wheels DLC.

For the seasonal stunts you need a wrench to turn the wheel, it is also prone to snapping under braking, so no. For cruising, very pretty.

I didn't use it for this week's PR Stunts, I used my FXX Evo for all 3. I've tuned mine up so it's reasonable stable. It works well for me in Hot Wheels for S2 races.

I guess I'm not the first person to discover this, but if you push the non-player cars off a bridge, they don't know what to do, and you can build a collection of them :D
We used to do this in FH3 using the glitched Nissan Titan that weighed like 30,000lbs so it pushed things really easy. If you get some people together and coordinate you can push them in a little line next to a bump so you can jump on top of them like a monster truck.

I dunno about in FH4/5, but in FH3 the cars would eventually try to drive after they hadn't been touched for a certain amount of time, so sometimes we would all pick a car, push them out somewhere door to door and park in front of them. Then we would all move so they take off again and see whose car would make it back to the road first.

I haven't played around with them in FH5 though other than pushing a Galant on the train tracks in front of a train once...

Having an innocent driver enjoy a underwater diving with the car was probably a common pastime at Australia's Horizon Festival...😈

My 1200hp 4wd 599XX had no issues with either of the PR stunts this week, though to be fair I did the speed zone with the Essenza which is strangely becoming one of my favorite cars in the game.

That was one of the tougher sets of weekly PR stunts I've had in a while. I used a Pagani.

I also spent $15M on the Alfa Stradale to get the spend $10M from the auto show accolade. Now the only one I'm missing in Discovery & Collections is buying 400 cars from the Auto Show? Have people really done that? I have 676 cars and only 165 from the auto show. That accolade would require a whole lot of clicking buy.

There’s a Fox-body Mustang in the auto show that’s only 15k credits. It’s the cheapest car in the game. I bought about ten a day every day for several weeks until I hit the achievement. I gifted them all every day, too, so I wouldn’t hit the garage limit.

Thanks. I thought about doing that, and bought a couple extra Preludes in different colors. But after going through the buy screens realized doing that 235 more times will take a while. Now if I'd being doing that since I first got the game, I'd be set.

A FXX-K grip tune courtesy of Don Joewon Song got me through this week's speed zone OK but as far as the speed trap was concerned... no. I was forced to break out the Darius 599XX for the other two stunts and the Hot Wheels race and PR.

If anything, I'm glad the free weekend on Steam is the same week that they're giving the 155.

Allows me to actually try and get one ahead of time despite the fact it's quite literally not possible at the moment for my region to even buy FH5 outright AKA it's delisted entirely here, thanks, Microsoft... But as long as there's a free weekend, SteamDB allows downloading anyway

As for how I'd go about getting it starting from zero is a different question, but I'll figure it out within these two days

I bought about 200 Nissan Pulsars by spamming the Y button (I think it's that button to buy quickly) on the car collection page. I then gifted the whole lot just like Populuxe

Horizon News: All racing categories canceled except for Retro Rally due to large surplus of Nissan Pulsars. Experts believe Max Verstappen will still win the Formula One championship driving one.

I struggled with the speed trap challenge. I tried a dozen different Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and Paganis. My problem was the double left-hander leading to the straight. If I wasn’t losing time because of too much oversteer or understeer, then I was simply too slow. I finally built an FXX K up to 984 and bypassed the corners by starting in the grass south of the two corners so it was much more of a straight shot to the speed trap. Doing that got me a 182.65 (and probably a reprimand about track limits).

Are you using performance or graphics mode? I can't help wondering if the difference in responsiveness between 30fps and 60fps increases the difficulty in controlling the game at the limit, or perhaps the difference between Xbox Series S and X generally.

I'm sure PG playtests these challenges on all platforms before setting the target requirements but having taken @-Fred-'s advice on using a (non Evo FE) 599XX and selecting a tune with as high a lateral g-rating as I could find while keeping the speed up was the only way I could make the trap relatively easily with a 182mph+ result (on Series X) after three or four tries. I think I entered from the north (?) though as there wasn't enough run up from the other side for me. I wonder how Xbox One X and lower end PC users did.

I struggle with some speed traps myself and am too lazy or dumb to tune my own cars so forums like this are valuable in helping to pick the right car to avoid hair pulling frustration or just giving up. Not sure whether I can be bothered with doing the Open drift challenge for the extra 2 points though, personally.

I’m just a crap racer with a Series S (because that’s all I could find/afford at the time) using a controller and automatic shifting. I didn’t try any tunes, although I have used Don Joewon Song’s tunes in the past (his tune for the Shelby Monaco in FH4 turned it from an uncontrollable beast to one of my favorite racers), but I wanted to see if I could do it on my own. Even if it meant using some extreme measures.

Everyone has varying levels of skill and I would've thought a Series S at 1080p60 would be able to handle it easily but I could be wrong.
