Ooooooh a Camry. It's been since FM1 since we had one right???

That one was a Solara IIRC? But yes, outside the NASCAR ones from FM6/FM7 it's the first one.Ooooooh a Camry. It's been since FM1 since we had one right???
Unrelated but the Toyota Camry XV70 2017-24 is also actually fairly high on the request lists, next to the Elantra N, even. I could see the 2023 Nightshade edition of that car in the game (even though the Camry XV80 is already coming out).
I'm surprised they didn't choose the Nightshade--although, considering the 86 TRD SE in FM2023, maybe I shouldn't be.I threw a dart onto a wall and it stuck. With the Camaro and the Dark Horse, the Camry will be a popular car for NASCAR liveries.
I think you brought this up in the Other Thread, but the big thing that separates this from Modern Horizons and Lunar New Year for me is that there's no actual super or hypercar (or really any highly requested car) in the update to tie it all together in a satisfying way. None of the cars here, aside from maybe the Durango and TRD Camry, can even breach 250 KPH stock, because they do want them to be tuned and upgraded--the 'fun' with them is in tweaking them, and three of them come with licensed aero options to emphasize that.I find it pretty hilarious how we are now so spoiled with FH5 updates that getting 4 brand new models never before seen in Forza in a single month along with 4 new road courses is seen as a filler / weak month.
And to think of all those complaints when they were filling up each playlist with cars returning from FH4
The Durango Hellcat has significantly more power than the 2018 one currently in game.
The current one has 475 versus 710 on the Hellcat:
Yes, it should have the 3.5 V6 that's also in the Lotus Emira/Evora. I'm pretty sure the Camry is a North American car only (unless it's still sold in Australia/NZ?)Just to confirm - is the Camry the 3.5 V6 with 301 horses? Is it only available in Japan and or North America? Don't remember seeing one in the UK...
I love messing around in the Charger Redeye we got in the FastX pack. The thought of another insane supercharger scream while sideways in the mud sounds like fun to meYep, it's basically the Dodge equivalent of the Grand Cherokee SRT and GC SRT Trackhawk that are in the game under Jeep. One is the 'ordinary' N/A model, one is the frankly daft 700hp supercharged model.
There doesn’t seem to be any sign of slowing down either with the new mode set for next month. This will be Series 37, and for reference Series 37 was the last to introduce content in Horizon 4 (the Vuhl 05RR and Super7 High Stakes). Time flies!I find it pretty hilarious how we are now so spoiled with FH5 updates that getting 4 brand new models never before seen in Forza in a single month along with 4 new road courses is seen as a filler / weak month.

Weren't they going to discontinue the Hellcat engine soon?A not-so-neat Hidden Theme in this update is that 75% of the cars in this update are either being discontinued or reworked to feature more carbon neutral features. The Focus and Fiesta are both being replaced by the Capri, Explorer and Puma EVs, and the Camry VX80 won't even have a V6 in favor of more powerful I4s with PHEV assistance. Only the Durango seems set to continue that way untouched.
Oh. Crap, I completely forgot about the Charger moving to I6 full-time, the news about the Hellcat being discontinued went right over my head. So yeah, that's 100% of all cars in this update seeing some kind of carbon neutral modification or being discontinued for 2025 and beyond. Holy crap the vehicle team must have a rotten sense of timing right about now.Weren't they going to discontinue the Hellcat engine soon?
Or they are deliberately celebrating having these final cars in game.Oh. Sounds interestingSince it's in the string files and someone will inevitably post it here anyway:
Oooohhhhh I quite like the sound of that. Hopefully it'll play as well as it sounds.Since it's in the string files and someone will inevitably post it here anyway:
The new game mode is hide and seek. The hiders apparently blend in with regular traffic cars (not sure if they get to drive traffic cars or just show up as one for seekers), a detection meter fills up when a seeker is near them, and there are some power-ups that can either boost your power or drop your detection.
Hiders win if they reach a certain destination, so it sounds like it's an official implementation of the type that I think FailRace usually plays.

Sounds pretty exciting. They did drop Eliminator out of nowhere in FH4 too, which was somewhat polished more in FH5. This will probably be the same for FH6Since it's in the string files and someone will inevitably post it here anyway:

Yeah, this sounds like the Manhunt videos I saw AR12 and JackUltimateRace making. The difficulty there lies in the fact that they actually turn their maps off, mostly because it's hard to blend in with a good 95% of the cars in the game, so introducing player-controlled traffic cars into the mix would absolutely make that game a lot more polished.Since it's in the string files and someone will inevitably post it here anyway:
