Likewise 😁 I was very pleased seeing you in the line-up.Very true bud. His tunes are always worth trying out too.
In other news, I've just been hanging out in The Trial with @Seb75 . He did far better than I did too. I went into it under powered, however with @Seb75 driving and two other team mates we romped home in two races. It was a pleasure racing with you bud 👍 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆

Hey mate not your fault, you did the right thing and went for the points. I had the handling but lacked power. Here's hoping for another pair up soon.Likewise 😁 I was very pleased seeing you in the line-up.
I had a power build tune. So I could race to the front, brake the front two AI drivers until the other 2 700pp cars could catch up and make sure we ended up as the top 3 for a guaranteed win 😏
In the second race I tried to keep the AI in check for @Edax 76 to catch up. But they were to agressive and I didn´t want to risk losing the race. I am sorry, Bud. I tried 😅
I´ll drink to that 😎 Here´s to meeting more fellow members from GT PlanetHey mate not your fault, you did the right thing and went for the points. I had the handling but lacked power. Here's hoping for another pair up soon.
I guess this goes hand in hand with the whole "lack of Mexican cars like the Mexican Dodge Magnum" argument, but now that you mention the Spirit...The 90s was the time the Mexican economy really opened thanks to the NAFTA trade agreement. Then we started getting more brands and cars and stuff in general, and everybody that could finally got cable TV (and MTV). In my family my dad was a Chrysler/Dodge customer, so in the 90s we had the Dodge Spirit, the Shadow (my college car), the Neon and the Cirrus later in the decade. Sure, Honda had better cars, but they were expensive then and now.
Ah yeah, the Spirit R/T had a DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder 2.2-liter 224 HP engine and a 5-speed manual. The 2-door coupe Dodge LeBaron R/T (the Phantom here) briefly shared that engine I believe.I guess this goes hand in hand with the whole "lack of Mexican cars like the Mexican Dodge Magnum" argument, but now that you mention the Spirit...

Built in Mexico, had a Mexico-only lesser variant used as a police car in Mexico, goes like stink even by modern standards (5.8 second 0-60 is pretty good going for FWD!) and to top it off would be a fun gift to the sleeper/everyday car people, even though it's remarkably rare (less than 1500 sold in the US). Yes please.

Hah, if I'd remembered the Sterrato I would've factored that into my preliminary prediction, crap. Ah well, at least I could probably drop that in place of the Elantra N, since that'd at least stand a good chance of being classed as a Track Toy.PG knows their audience well enough to know that giving us those cars would not do much for more than a tiny majority.
We clearly need another Huracan next (Sterrato!)
They also put it in the Daytona IROC R/T.Ah yeah, the Spirit R/T had a DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder 2.2-liter 224 HP engine and a 5-speed manual. The 2-door coupe Dodge LeBaron R/T (the Phantom here) briefly shared that engine I believe.
The Daytona has always looked to me like a kit-car version of the Porsche 928 But I would love it in the game! They also put it in the Daytona IROC R/T.
The funny thing about the Turbo III engine is that its DOHC cylinder head (and various other bits) were designed by Lotus, which was owned by General Motors at the time. So in a way we have GM to thank for some of the baddest non-Viper Mopars of the '90s!
In this photo at this angle, it looks like an FC RX-7 Turbo II 10th Anniversary with a poorly-fitted Dodge-themed front end cobbled onto it.The Daytona has always looked to me like a kit-car version of the Porsche 928 But I would love it in the game!

I haven’t logged in in almost a year. Anyone want to take a guess at how many credits I’ll get paid for 9 months of livery downloads? 😁
Going on figures you've mentioned before I'll say 40 million
I downloaded your TVR Speed 12 paint job today before doing the speed trap PR stunt on the carretera. It really stood out from the rest.Adding up my Downloads, Liked & Uses manually, I would have earned 19,375,400 CR from being away from the game for a year.
That top Mustang is so pretty 😍 😍I see for update 13, Turn 10 have added a bunch of Mustangs to FM2023
These are the models of Mustang that aren't in FH5 (from FM2023)
2024 Formula Drift #25 Ford Mustang RTR
2024 Formula Drift #88 Ford Mustang RTR
2024 Formula Drift #130 Ford Mustang RTR
1995 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra R
1970 Ford #15 Mustang Boss 302 Trans Am
2018 Saleen S302 Black Label
Wouldn't be shocked to perhaps see a similar Mustang themed update coming with this news.
Would love to get that Trans Am in Horizon!

Yeah I didn't mean next month, I just meant in the future. Could be slotted in next year at some point.I think the Saleen S302 would fit the idea of "Track Toy update" most perfectly out of all of these, but I doubt we're ever getting a full Mustang update next month. That would be Fordzathon levels of "title doesn't match the content of the update," lol.
True! I've just been second guessing the GT3 RS recently; I mean, you'd think the 993 GT3 RS would be in Motorsport first, not Horizon. The S302 works as an interesting change in calculus for my mid-Series prediction, but then that would possibly imply a focus on performance and performance tuned cars rather than straight track toys. It's something I'd like to keep in mind.Yeah I didn't mean next month, I just meant in the future. Could be slotted in next year at some point.
Though I know if PG did do a dedicated Mustang update, the community probably wouldn't react well to it (considering some of the community sentiment about "too many mustangs") so perhaps PG could piecemeal a few of these out in the coming updates instead of having a "Mustang month" like FM.
Turn 10 was running up against a problem. Ford just wasn’t interested. According to McCormack, the car maker felt that there was little point to going to any effort to immortalize the Focus ST in Forza when the car will be going out of production in 2025. Which meant that Turn 10 had to instead scour the world to find a privately-owned one that would work. Hence the Reddit reach-out.
“He’s done museums, he’s done millionaire’s houses, and now he’s in a shed in Conleth” said McCormack. “So I drove out there and sat for five hours. And I had no lunch, I was starving. I hadn’t realised that I’d just be sat there for the full time. Then he was finished and on a flight to Holland and another car. He told me it would take a year — six months to render the car alone. And at that time they hadn’t even received a licence from Ford to use the car, but they were taking the photos just to be ready.”
“But I haven’t unlocked the car in the game yet. You don’t get paid for doing this, incidentally. I didn’t even get any petrol money. The only thing they offer you is your name in the game’s credits, but I got them to put my son’s name in instead because that was just the decent thing to do.”
The Trans Am Boss 302 would certainly fit the track car criteria for the next update. Would love to see the rest of the Trans Am Class of 1970 in one or both games in the future.
Tbh every new car is described that way nowadays. It's just that GTA has gotten efficient at making a "mock" version of a car. The F80 definitely fits into the current Ferrari lineup atleast design wise. The v6 is a disappointment though.So... I watched the unveiling of the Ferrari F80 and it looks like... a Grand Theft Auto online version of a Ferrari. I'm most certainly FH5 won't get it, fortunately.
