So now that they fixed the custom front bumper on the Porsche 924, did they also fix / remove the visible front aero kit on the stock Porsche 997 GT3 RS?

It's literally the same people complaining. Youtube account "SirCreepsALot" is in every single video of it complaining about the same thing and getting likes.

I'm pretty sure some people have their complaint set to a hotkey as I've seen the same person post the same complaint word for word no matter the subject of the original tweet (even if it's a tweet in memory of a deceased player ).

I get that FM7 is far from being the best in the series, but with the way some people act you have to wonder if they find joy in anything.

Edit: Also, welcome to the site.

The wording on the official website makes it feel like that'll be the only thing we're getting all month long...
That's how I feel and if so....DAMN what a let down for this month. That being said somebody did mention that every May since Forza horizon 1 there was plenty of cars released during the month of May whether it was an expansion or free dlc on top of a regular dlc...I'll say let's wait a little longer and see if there's more stuff to come.

Month of May is IndyCar month!

I’m sorry to burst your bubble, but I wouldn’t expect any Indycar stuff until FM8. Indycar seem to have a better relationship with other Devs, which is a shame. If we were to get an Indycar expansion of sorts, I’d expect to have seen an announcement of a partnership already.

He is quite annoying in the comments section. He also prefers the return of the 2006 Koenigsegg CCX over a new-to-franchise car.

924's bodykit is fixed by the way:
And they’ve screwed yet another thing up with this car in doing so.

Went to homologate it with the body kit applied, and you can’t adjust the front tyre widths within homologation.

The first 4 options are all the stock 205’s while option 5 is 285’s which is beyond the homologation requirement.

That was already the case AFAIK. Surprised it wasn’t fixed in this update as it’s exactly the same effort as fixing the track width of the car.

YAY!!! The old Civic's half-cocked body kit has been banished!

You can see the kit in the Thumbnail.

Nice! Far less of an annoyance, but did they also fix the front lip issue on the Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0? The issue where the Forza aero lip can't be removed.

I'm a bit baffled that they still haven't fixed the thumbnail issue yet either, though, where the color in the thumbnail doesn't match displayed car.

For the thumbnail to be updated, I would have to mod or paint the car and save. I'm not planning on doing that, because I kind of enjoy seeing the botched kit there.

I did see that issue with some of the cars I've painted and saved to my catalog. Once I saved to the car (created the needless double design) then the thumbnail was updated.

The thumbnails can be corrected by just going to "Paint Car" tab, and choosing my designs, then scroll and find that design, and re-apply. I have close to 900 cars, and seemingly 500 designs in my catalog. It's a pain, but its the price I pay to upkeep my garage!

May's Bounty Hunter will once again feature Newgarden (and "friends").

ForzaRC IndyCar Challenge – Coming May 11!
If it's May it must be the Indianapolis 500! We're celebrating the world's greatest race in a big way with the upcoming ForzaRC IndyCar Challenge. IndyCar champ and Forza Motorsport fan Josef Newgarden will once again be a part of this Bounty Hunter event... and this time he's bringing friends. The action kicks off in Forza Motorsport 7 next Friday, May 11 -- look for more details in next week's edition of the Week in Review!

Hopefully, Joey Newgarden's friends aren't as devilishly fast as he is...

The wording on the official website makes it feel like that'll be the only thing we're getting all month long...

Not necessarily, IIRC in the past post-Season Pass DLC was disassociated from the monthly CU/patch. Although I guess the only thing we can do, as usual, is to sit and see...

I have a feeling one of them will be Hinchcliffe as his car is in the game and he did a Canada-only event last year.

I'm just hoping the participation prize is good as I'm terrible at Indy GP (guessing that's the track they're using).

Sigh... There's nothing more humbling than watching one's meager efforts to climb the leaderboard, become an exercise in futility. Let's just get this over with, and tell me what the participation prizes are; if there are any?
(Edit: I scrolled up and clicked the link that Northstar shared. I'm on it. - Dopplegagger)

I briefly read the posting about the event, but didn't have the chance to dive in. I may have to turn the ghosts back on to have an advantage...

On second thought, the ghosts will stay off. I can do bad all by myself.

I just asked the same question above, but I can now confirm that it hasn't been fixed.

Yes, quite mind-boggling. My workaround is to only paint cars right after booting up the game because the glitch only seems to be in effect after a race.

Hmmm anyone notice this issue in photomode, the sunlight shouldn`t be on top of the tyres etc when its behind the car...hmmm looks wrong

One of the limitations of the Forza game engine. I don't know if there is a term for light seeming to be able to pass through solid objects, in a game. But I am sure that its one of the many things overlooked in Forza... Because 700 cars? I think.

It's called masking, where you stop the light from coming through the object, rather than letting it come through. It's more likely to be a limitation of trying to get 24 cars on screen at the same time and ambient occlusion taking up too much processing.

Well i was only doing laps on top gear track, so there was only one car...And the graphics looked like that..
