Can anyone recommend the best Nvidia control panel settings for the GPU? for Forza 7? Playing first time on my 55OLEDB7. My Pc is cpu before skylake, i5 6400 2.4GHz, 16GB 2400Mhz Team Force RAM at 2133MHz running on the Asus cheapest mini itx motherboard, 250GB SSD, and a OCUK 1060 GTX 6Gb GPU.

The computer is a titan VR gaming pc built by www.overclockers.co.uk I have my old Dell 2407 HPC 1920 x 1200P monitor as my No.1 display and my OLED tv as the 2nd Display to play the game on. I just need some good Nvidia control panel settings and in game video settings to play FM7 comfortably in 60FPS at 4K?

honestly I left the NVidia control panel on their default settings and my GTX1070 has no issues running FM7 at 4K60FPS. If your running a Titan then FM7 shouldn't have any issues getting triple digit framerates at 4K in FM7.

Hi Shaun. Can I ask you a couple of questions?

My computer has a OCUK FE Ge Force GTX 1060 6GB graphics card. I can play at high settings with no as, af, or ms.

I am hoping to upgrade to a 1080ti very soon within a month or two so I can experience games with Ultra settings and or 4K unless Nvidia come out with some new monster card. If they do I'll be ready to buy. I'm holding off playing Assassins Creed Origins and FM7 until I get a beastly GPU, MB and CPU upgrade.

My motherboard needs a upgrade at the same time and I still have support warranty with the computer. The PSU is a cougar bronze 650watt. Do you think a bronze rated PSU 650watt will run a 1080ti no problems?

I wouldn't want to upgrade the PSU unless I'm assured that a bronze rated 650watt will be stable enough. Also the case is a white Phantek Enthoo Micro ATX/ITX with clear side window, it's a really nice neat looking little case with a cheap £50 Asus ITX motherboard.

My CPU is an early Skylake I5 6400 2.7Ghz one so that might need upgrading for a 1080ti too would you think ?

My $.02... I don't think you will be able to fully utilize a GTX 1080Ti with that CPU. I have a i7 3770 (3.4 - 4 GHz turbo), this CPU maxes out before my GTX 1080Ti. I'm running a 3440x1440 UltraWide G-Sync monitor - FM7 looks and runs very good at this resolution on my hardware but a CPU upgrade would be needed if I want to run a higher resolution and/or at a higher refresh rate.

I do most of my gaming on a 4K OLED tv. So I'd be playing at 4K 60FPS. I guess I'll need one of the new skylake cpus.

Yeah, I'm looking at a 8700K soon. I've tried FM7 at 4K on my XBOX One X but haven't connected my PC to my TV to see how it runs at 4K. I prefer my UltraWide for racing games.

One fun thing that I like to do and would recommend to others: setting up a mismatched race.

Two buckets, *not* scored independently, you alone in one bucket and 23 AI in the other. Pick a division for your car (e.g. Hot Hatch Icons), then pick a faster similar division for the AI (in this case Modern Hot Hatch) and try to win. Supercar vs Hypercar may be another good match too.

Forzathon is not working for me. I've completed every challenge for the Forza World Tour Part 2 and I've not unlocked the car or/& achievement. It even says I have completed each challenge but I've got nothing from it. Am I missing something here?

From what I heard through the grapevine, the 8700K will be great partnered with the 1080ti and it shouldn't bottleneck the CPU. I was looking into that one aswell. I just need the best mini ITX or micro ATX motherboard for that CPU and Graphics card.

Usually I just turn the system off. And when I log back in the alert for the car appears. It seems to do that a lot in #Forzathon. I was hoping that glitch would be fixed after the recent hiatus. I have 1 more quest to complete to get the car, so that glitch hasn't happened to me yet, (this time). I'm watching some Hockey on TV right now. I'll try during the intermission

Thanks for the reply. I've just tried and that and still nothing. :banghead: I was hoping the same, I thought they would of fixed this. Oh well, guess I'll just miss out on the car thanks to FM7 being a bug fest. I hope it works for you & everybody else.

I seem to have lost interest in the game. I have completed the single player part. I only seem to play when there is a new Forzathon or when the monthly pack is released.

I am getting fed up with the Speciality Dealer as it seems to always do the same sequence of cars. Only got caught out once which at least got me an Achievement for using the Auction House. It would make life so much simpler if the cars there had a garage symbol if you already had it.

A few weeks ago I went from rewards Tier 10 to Tier 11. I haven't seen my one-time 75k bump, nor have I seen any increase in weekly reward. The last 3 weeks have all been 350k.

I'm thinking it'll never get fixed. Normally i wouldn't be fazed, but I actually put in a lot of time specifically to move up to the next tier.

Sigh.

It's not top time, but it would be a huge improvement of my time (that it's hardcore on controller)...if game hasn't flagged for nothing:

Last tic-tac, heavy weight shifting corners section is real pain and here are did it very good!
There was no touch on last corner, so no reason to invalidate time.

Just to confirm, the Forza world tour Part 2 Forzathon that I had recently done unlocked the achievement and car last night.

No luck here, already fourth day Rio is finished and stuck...

Looks like you cut a little too much at :39 as well as the next corner.
From what I can tell from my own experiences, the second (wall on the left) cut is fine - I don't think there's any way of dirtying on that kerb without actually touching the wall. The first cut (wall on the right) is where it occurs, you have to go a little wider around it.

That cut is a particular pain for hotlaps for me because it affects the next lap due to being in the last sector.
