I'm betting 5$ either the GTC4 Lusso or 812 Superfast is part of the VIP launch car pack.
If the VIP pack contains a handful of the most recent performance models a la FH3, count on either of them as well as four of the following:

-Aston Martin Valkyrie
-Audi RS3
-Audi RS5
-Audi TT RS
-BMW M5 F90/G30
-Bugatti Chiron
-Dodge Challenger SRT Demon
-Lamborghini Huracan Performante
-Lexus LC
-Lotus Elise Cup 250
-Lotus Evora Sport 410
-Lotus Exige Cup 380
-Maserati Levante
-McLaren 675LT
-Mercedes-AMG E63 S
-Mercedes-AMG S65, coupe or sedan
-NIO EP9
-Porsche 718, Boxster or Cayman
-Tesla Model S P100D
-W Motors Fenyr SuperSport
-Zenvo TS1

To be completely frank with you, a good-quality 1080p is really all you need, particularly if it's set up properly. There are only a handful of games that natively support 4K/HDR, and not that many that even support higher than 24-bit color on consoles. But good for those who have invested in a little future-proof goodness. That's always fun.
Are colour and stereo similarly overrated and superfluous?

Personally I run all my racing games in 4K.

I believe that's exclusive to Project CARS 2 for now, as it's the cover car:

D'oh!

I knew that the 720S is in CSR Racing 2 (pic below, yes, I know that it's a mobile drag racing game), so it led me to believe that SMS didn't have exclusive rights to the car.

It is a likely proposition that SMS has exclusive rights to the car in terms of track racing games for now, however. I deleted the 720S from the list for that reason.

That's just lame.
Why? Forza has done exactly the same thing repeatedly over the years with cover car timed exclusivity.

Besides, McLaren engineers and their lead test driver (who worked on the 720S for years) actually sat down with SMS and got the virtual car to drive pretty much identically to the real thing, and that work rubbed off on the general physics model of pCARS 2. Whatever else you might want to say, that's a good thing for simracers. And more than Forza did with their exclusives in the past.

Do you have a source for this?

During the Ferrari era with MS, Dan did say they did not want exclusivity with the brand.

I don't see PCars 2 also showboating a P1 press kit car in their lobby, so clearly T10 did something more than anyone else did as well.

Turn 10 has exclusive rights on porsche but it's still going to be represented in other games. I doubt the 720s is PC2 only

No source but evidence from the past:
  • Correct me if I'm wrong but the Lamborghini Centenario has not featured in a non-Forza yet.
  • The 2017 Ford GT was seen by some Turn 10 staff before half of the Ford factory knew of its existence, and it and the GTE Pro version are only just making their way into other racing games now.
I work for a company that has to fight EA tooth and nail for every piece of exclusivity it can get. Licensing/exclusivity is a very big deal for sports/racing games as having the right car/team in a game can sway customers your way.

Fortunately for fans of multiple titles, Turn 10 don't like to lock everything to their franchise indefinitely even if they do get "first dibs" on certain cars from Ford, Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche.

According to this link, the car made its way into 2 games before Horizon 3 secured it.

No?

You're comparing completely different scenarios; Turn 10 was the only company with access to the Ford GT and other cover cars before they were revealed. McLaren 720S has been known for a while by the public.

McLaren 720S is exclusive because SMS made a deal to make it exclusive.

Ford GT was exclusive at launch because they were the only ones with access to the car.

Forza is also now the big dog when it comes to car lists, no other racing games releasing this gen has more than 200~ cars(most less) in their game; Forza 7 has 700.

And that's great but non-4K/no HDR isn't really bad or last-gen, if you know what I mean. You'd be surprised how many people still haven't jumped on the surround sound bandwagon. Some are just in it for the fun and recreational experience, not necessarily playing to enjoy a product in all its glory and bells/whistles. For some, less is more, and they are happy with less as opposed to more. :D

So,received my 4K TV today, and oh boy,im soooo not going back to pc monitors any time soon..Those recorded videos from Gamersyde looks way different and much better than on monitor, launched FM Apex,Horizon 3 in 4k and anybody who says 4K is not a big deal a very mistaken.
And its not like i didnt had a good monitor before-Acer X34 is one of the best, and i still would choose 4K TV for half price :D

I got Samsung UE40KU6000k,paid 495eur.Been looking for new monitor/TV for 3 weeks, and made right choice-TV is simply superb, and the price is a joke for such TV - there is literally no lag in games, has some good, yet simple options,im very happy, and after watching those Gamersyde recorded/downloaded videos its makes me even more hungrier for FM7 :D

Samsung is usually the best brand for low input lag, even in 4K/HDR. Whenever I have bought a TV I've always looked at Samsung first.

I've got the UE55KS7000 (KS8000 for the American users here) which is essentially a beefier version of yours with all the bells and whistles. It's a beast of a TV and after some calibration most games look astounding.

Yeas mate, but i wanted only 40" as it will replace my monitor as well, and i will be sitting quite close,so bigger than 40" would have been overkill..I have 65" Panasonic for couch gaming :D
Strangely,i find that my HDMI cable supporting 4K/60Hz,and i still ordered some better ones.

@UKMikey - yes, after watching those Gamersyde videos i just cant believe how FM7 looks, nothing close to what i saw on normal pc monitor :D
That Nurburgring GP straight eh... ?

Congratulations on the arrival!

Are you referring to no input lag or no motion lag (aka blur)?

I might see myself jumping ship in the near future although a Dolby Atmos setup is a higher priority. Cheers man, enjoy the screen. :D

Lag and motion blur are basically non existant at 4K,while i still can see some on my older monitor rated at 4ms at 1080P :D
TV feels much smoother, but no wonder-pc monitors uses 5-6year old panels, while TV's usually using newest ones,or at least not that old.
