Please Turn 10 confirm the next bunch of cars with the
Ferrari 296 GT3 and the
BMW M4 GT3
That would be so awesome...driving on the returning track from FM4 Twin Ring Motegi - new Mobility Resort Motegi.

Honestly I have a feeling we will get them.

T10 Always likes putting the next big thing regardless if its a new racecar or a new roadcar.

Who knows if we will get them at launch, in the base roster, or post-launch with some DLC.

My only doubt is this, but I too think we will get them.

You had forgot Interlagos that is BY FAR the most track voted, and second overall if we count cars alongside it, only missing to the meme known as Nissan Sentra SE-R
Interlagos has never been featured in the series, and all five new to Forza tracks for launch have all been accounted for. Maybe as part of free DLC through content updates.

The more I look at it, the more I think it has something "vintage" about it... I don't know why. At least it's not one of those circuits that look like they were designed by Tilke (with all due respect).

In this layout the track is not very long (just over 3.7 km, therefore slightly longer than Laguna Seca)... Only 7 corners... But it also has something technical, with some car categories it could be very funny.

A cross between Lime Rock Park (2.4km) and Goodwood circuit (3.8km) maybe?

It looks fast enough to be fun but not so bland as to be boring IMO.

Are they going to start naming all their fictional tracks after trees from now on? (Yeah I know Eaglerock isn't a tree)

At least they showed some wet weather this time around.

I was thinking that as well. Something about the layout reminds me of vintage Silverstone in a very weird way.

True, it also somewhat resembles the old Silverstone, but only in terms of layout. It has one biggest difference, if I remember the short video correctly, is that this Grand Oak Raceway has elevation variations, while Silverstone as we know is flat (and it's normal to be so, originally being a RAF airfield).

Forza Motorsport has confirmed the Ford Falcon and Holden Commodore V8 Supercars, but it would be really odd to not have the Mount Panorama Bathurst Circuit at launch.

Be good to see the other Supercars tracks at some point, racing through cities looks a lot of fun. Not sure if that would be a DLC or if all tracks are just going to be added as time goes on.

I wonder where Grand Oak Raceway is supposed to be located, besides it being it being somewhere in the US.
I'm not sure... But someone said, maybe in this same thread, that it should be in or near Virginia (and in fact whoever wrote this was wondering what's the point, since VIR is in the game anyway).

This looks like a good fun track for many different classes including the slower cars. But for the 5th new-to-Forza track I was hoping for something like Interlagos instead. For the remaining 5 tracks to be announced my bets are on:
  • Nürburgring (given its appearance in one trailer)
  • Road Atlanta (Petit Le Mans is in the weekend after the launch of Forza Motorsport)
  • Mount Panorama Circuit (you cannot have V8 Supercars without this gem of a track)
  • Daytona International Speedway (the host of one of the great endurance races)
  • Mugello (as it was added in Forza Motorsport 7 in which it looked really good)
As this leaves out some amazing tracks such as Sebring, Monza, Walkins Glen and many other, I have high hopes for new tracks preferably one every 3 months or so with a new-to-Forza track once or twice a year.

I am quite impressed by the overview of the multiplayer side of the game. As someone who mostly plays single player, this actually looks rather attractive and well-structured to me and I am actually quite looking forward to it.

It's interesting to see that they are not revealing a lot of new-to-Forza cars yet even though some have been visible such as the 720S GT3 and the Lexus RCF GT3. Hopefully as the launch gets closer they will start revealing more of these new cars. The existence of the Le Mans -wining #97 Vantage GTE in the Horizon 5 files gives hope that this might finally be the Forza Motorsport with my favourite race car 🤞

Mugello is an old FM track. Dubai was added in FM7; Homestead, Monza, COTA and Barcelona were added in FM6, etc...

I just meant added compared to Forza Motorsport 6. Mugello's first appearance was indeed in Forza Motorsport 2, but like Suzuka it didn't was dropped after Forza Motorsport 4. You can see how much different it is in Forza Motorsport 7 compared to Forza Motorsport 4 in this great video:

Since all of the new to Forza tracks have been revealed, could a 360 fantasy track return since it isn't technically new? Ehh who am I kidding, even if they do add those back it'll be post-launch.

I think Sebring will be in the game, I dont know what will replace Mt Panorama or Nurburing

I know that Daytona or Road Atlanta will be in beacuse of IMSA

I hope singleplayer has the option to turn Off penalties. I'm just a casual and single player driver.
Choice would be good. I think it nearly always is. I'd keep mine switched on but everyone plays differently. Not sure whether it's presented as part of the difficulty presets or not. I'm not a fan of how they appear to group bundles of choices together like rewind and tyre wear, say.

[EDIT] Looks like we're stuck with at least some penalties. Guess they're determined to enforce teaching etiquette to players but I wonder how lenient the club penalties would be. Perhaps they're further tweakable via the options menu?

At around 13:50 Hoki mentions a searchable lobby list, was he mistaken about that?
Why do you ask? I've no reason to believe Chris led him wrong in their meeting.
