I don't see anything wrong with that. I'm glad that Forza Motorsport is getting a 24-hour day/night cycle and various weather conditions for the different tracks.
But they are not showing off any of these other Time-of-day. The track reveals are all at golden hour. They obviously think its the most flattering, and are not as confident about other lighting conditions.

Aint no shot there are 1.3 million people on xbox playing forza

Anywho, I hope this runs well on PC, last motorsport game on pc wasn't too good optimization-wise.

They Showed other Time-of-day during the Builder's Cup Reveal, Everyone Remember what's the "Community" said ...

Intresting that they had not put the 2022 upgrades in game, i guess they are still scanning the track or working on upgrades, the upgrade work ended just few months ago just in time for the F1 GP, but still needs to be scan and scan takes months
Spa was one of the first tracks shown in the game last year already, so the scan likely already happened before they even began the 2022 renovations. They wouldn't neccesarily need a new scan if they were to update it later tbf, Automobilista 2 for example added the new version as a hand-crafted tweak to the existing scan.

They're still using outdated, obsolete race cars. There's no updated X-Bow to even begin with.
Xbow was just updated, it takes 6 months to update cares
Also there is licensing issues with companies seeking exclusivity left and right

I wonder why they havent updated the car list yet, the last update was August 19 it has been a week without the list updated

Someone is getting the list, how much cars we already know will be in game and how many left?

When T10 DID show off other times of day people were saying it had a filter of an action film, or didn't "look as good" according to them.

And also, it has nothing to do with T10 not having "confidence". They are simply showing what they see fit. I don't see the big deal unless we need yet another reason to whine/complain.

Their is a lot players still playing fh5 from what i seen, having a game on gamepass is going to boost the numbers to, i have not played it in year, i was bored of the map, horizon has always lacked in map campared to things like the crew and nfs,
Forza motorsport will not have same playercount as horizon, the fact is more people are more intrested in open world racing games, i am not one of them, i prefer track racers, the problem with many open world racing games, is that you are stuck with the same map for years, and pg has not done anything that great With expansions in my opinion with fh5, it really lacks cities, the good thing about many track racers, is that with time we get new tracks to race on, but it has been extreamly slow in gt7 through lately

I don't understand. We haven't been quoting Steam figures but cross platform. Steam is around 10k but there are a lot more people playing on Xbox. The game has a larger installed base than just PC players. Also, it's not a deathmatch only game like Apex. People are doing other stuff in the game too.
Over 1 million playing FH5 daily is pretty darn good. I guess it's not surprising since over 30 million people have played the game in just 18 months and growing.

Looks like it’s the version from before 2022 based on the grandstand at Radillon.
The upgrades of track actually were finshed only few months ago, so my theory is that Spa had not allowed a re-scan of the track until they finshed ALL track facilty upgrades

Mind you, as far i know no other car racing game had scanned the upgraded track so far

Laguna Seca is a track that’ll test the ‘built from the ground up’ talk that they’ve been throwing around. While it’s been updated, it’s been wholly the same inaccurate model for most FM iterations. Was disappointing when for either FM5 or 6, when they were advertising as all tracks being meticulously laser scanned, that Laguna Seca was just the same as it ever was, (Most notably the back straight leading up towards the Corkscrew, and then the Corkscrew itself). Hope it’s the not case again because for me, it’ll cast doubt over the other circuits and their claim of being ‘built from the ground up’.

Will say though, Forza’s rendition of Bathurst is fantastic though. Lightyears ahead of GT and other circuit racers with its accuracy. Hopefully we’ll see it again.

I'd say ACC has a pretty good laser scan of Bathurst. Very similar to Forza Motorsport 7, as you said but for me the surface is a little rougher especially on the mountain.

I think they did a re-scan of Laguna Seca, not only the sector you talked was the first of the new game to be show to the outside world but also its confirmed that will feature older layouts that are not used in years that were scaned during the track re-scan

After looking at some of the videos from Gamescom I really like that cars are not only put into a single category during the career. In FM5-7 cars could only be used for a single championship, and the championships have been made for a car group only…
