The best car for S2 or X class road racing and some PR stunts.

Eh. At S2/X, there are some things the Sesto is good at, others I would rather have a Venom F5 for. And there are more than a few other cars falling in between those two extremes that serve as potent all-rounders. It's definitely not an absolute and I don't much care for superlatives like "the best car." There's 700 of them in FH5, the best car is whatever you're driving right now.

As for the Tsuru, I hope you're right. About time, if it's coming sometime next Series or so.

While I’m certainly not expecting everything from FM7/FH4/5 to carry over and I think making a smaller, more focused car list was ultimately the right call, it’s hard not to ignore @willbsn13’s list above. It also feels like current race cars are lacking given what T10 promised about “the most modern race cars we’ve ever featured.”

I don’t want to think about how slow the drip-feed for cars is going to be…

They said that we would have around 100 new racing cars, i had not done the count yet, i actually was going to ask if someone had count up

About "Drip Feeding" it wont be different of Horizon, each moth comes new and returning cars, until then, we need wait the launch and see how game will be

So, possible new to Forza vehicles (some of the wording sounds very confusing)
  • 2020 Audi R8 V10 Performance
  • 2023 Cadillac #02 Cadillac Racing V-Series.R
  • 2019 Dodge #9 NetDepot/Technical Reality Group Challenger Trans-Am
  • 2020 KTM X-Bow GT2
  • 1999 Nissan #23 Nissan R391 (the R91CP has been confirmed a long while back, and that's not even new to the series)
  • 2017 Oreca #38 Jackie Chan DC Racing Oreca 07
  • 2022 Subaru BRZ
  • 2018 Volkswagen #25 Sebastien Loeb Racing Golf WTCR
And with the Porsche 935 seen in the game's intro, it looks likely it will return. So this means three of five cars that were previously removed are coming for launch after all (Ginetta G60 LT-P1, Oreca 07 and Porsche 935).

So far (excluding DLC and not-confirmed stuff) We have about 10. 8 if you could all the the LMDh Cadillacs as one

Preload also available on PC!

The following unannouced returning cars can be found:

  • 1993 Dodge Viper GTSR
This is an oddball. '93 would imply a 1st gen Viper, but I don't recall one ever being in a Forza. And the GTS-R nameplate was during the 2nd generation in 1996.

It's the #93 Viper GTS-R from 2014

The filename is DOD_93_ViperGTSR_14

Does includes that cars that were in Horizon 4 and 5? I think that they are not considering the fact cars were in Horizon and still counting as new-to-motorsport

What Ford Phoenix 2016 could be?
2017 Ford GT. As for the Porsche Raymond, that's the Porsche 911 GT2 RS. I think it's mainly the cover cars with otherwise unique names, such as:

Ferrari F142 - Ferrari 458 Italia
Ford Phoenix - Ford GT '17
Lamborghini Bellissima - Lamborghini Centenario LP 770-4
McLaren Wellington - McLaren Senna
Porsche Raymond - Porsche 911 GT2 RS '18

@nukleabomb Any chance of the full list? You could use spoilers though if ever...

Hey can anyone confirm if XJR-15’s files are present in the preload? I know that one’s been officially confirmed, but you know… :D

  4. 2016 Mercedes-AMG C 63 S Coupé Forza Edition
  5. 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS Forza Edition
  6. 2019 Subaru STI S209 Forza Edition

From 497 cars and all these cars (23 cars), plus the return of the Ginetta and Oreca, we could potentially launch with 522 cars. The Forza Editions, as far as I know, are only available through the VIP DLC (except maybe the Porsche).

Just thought I'd keep a track of some cars not yet in FM2023 from FH5.
  • This list doesn't include any FM7 or FH4 exclusive cars
  • Didn't include any off-road vehicles or vans or SUVs.
Obviously the final list has yet to be revealed so this is very much a WIP. But some cars here would be baffling to cut IMO. Like some real Forza staples. Not the end of the world if they don't make it, but certainly very weird.

Remember it took them 6 years to develop the game :dunce:

We may get them in Forza Motorsport 2028

Why does that come up when I Google it then :D. Unless its a simple re-badging of the car.
Because the Mustang was also sponsored by whistler at some point, they’re different FM7 screenshot clearly says cougar on it and has a mercury badge on the front

I'm sad there aren't more spec cars in general. Porsche Cup, GR86 Cup, MX5 Cup, Ginetta Junior, Clio Cup, Ligier JS P4 and JS2 R, Superrace 6000s, and so on. Trusting that they have improved the draft, spec cars should make for great racing, and several of them would serve as good feeder series.

As for SRX, I'm not sure I'd take their inclusion in iRacing as a sign they will start turning up in other games. iRacing has a pretty dedicated oval community, and through Monster Games, has a prior partnership with the series.
The presence of the Giulietta QV but no other Alfa, Lancia, Abarth, FIAT surprises me. It's strange.

Maybe day one patch could add some of them.
It's probably my fault, just yesterday I mentioned hoping the later Giulia sedan would be in so I could race it against the new M3, so I jinxed it.

Because you didn't Google it correctly. Google Whistler Radar Mustang and you will find several pictures of the correct car.

It's not a rebadge. The Cougar isn't even the same platform as the Mustang, it shares it's platform with the Thunderbird.
