Forza

to be frank, the racing game with the most "wow" factor in the graphics, for me at least, would be Rallisport Challenge 2.

It's just insane how pretty that game is. Ever look at the environments?

Nicefrog, you forgot to quote and give links to 4 year old biased internet sources.
Your talking crap, it's like saying a geforce 2 mx is more advanced then a geforce 6800, it's utter crap. More power is more power, simple as.

Oh and RSC2 is STUNNING.

RSC2 is stunning, dare I say more than forza? Anyway, I dont find it to look better than gt4, period and you all know why. Realistic visuals own you all :P

Did you ever though about what would RSC3 would look like on next-gen console

are you out of your mind ?. You are the worst blinded fanboy I ever saw on the internet.

The graphics in forza are good, better than GT3's but theres something PD has done to give GT3/4 a realistic look. All the cars look exactly like there real counterparts. I cant pin point it.

I dont want to get into a flame war but to me Forza's graphic look fancy but alittle... I dont know how describe it.... arcadey. Theres some trick that PD has pulled off that Forza hasnt.

They don't look arcadey, they look rough.
From what I've seen of both games, I'd say RSC2 looks better (doesn't look as realistic, but it has FAR FAR more detail in the cars and tracks). Also has the best car mud effects I've ever seen in a game.

I didnt really mean arcadey I just couldnt think of a way to describe it, rough will do.

I think GT4 mostly looks better than RSC2 :)
... rofl

You mentioned gt4 looking realistic and one scene in the celica vid looking real. Gt4's realistic visuals are the main reason I say gt4 looks the best. rsc2 has mad detail in cars and tracks, very attactive game indeed but it looks like an arcade racer, ofcourse since that's what it is but in some vids I have seen of rsc2, it looked like a dead sim. Gt4 doesnt have nearly as much detail as rsc2 or even pgr2 but damn does it look freaking realistic. In my honestly opinion, it puts all other racers in the back sit and code, have you seen the backfire, fire! Fire!

cobragt, you misunderstood me, I truly think that GT4 looks better than RSC2. The 'rofl' was pointed towards Symtex for making a stupid reply.

Oh well, I care more about the phyiscs, and that's why I'm a bit worried about this statement:

"Konami, I think, may be taking the whole notion of realism perhaps a little too seriously, but if they get it right, it will maybe last longer."

Am I the only one here? ;/

I know what you were saying, I just added that part, means nothing :) rsc2 does look great but I'd go with gt4's visuals anyday

That statement doesn't worry me. It feels realistic, but isn't impossible to play.
Enthusia isn't impossible to play, neither is GTR with assists. Just hate it when they use "The Real Driving Simulator" title and brag about the physics engine and then say Konami may take it too serious.
Why would PD ever update their physics engine after GT4 if they don't want to take it too serious?
