Great? The AI is poor in the Demo, and the physics are NOT on par with GT4 at ALL.
And you don't understand the japanese market or laws. There are countless reasons their cars are topped (rated) at 280, but many of them in fact EXCEED that. I.E. SUPRA.
If you don't understand everything, then attempt to understand bit and pieces and shoot down everyone else.
Again, those two brands = compensation for small guy's.

Why do some think GT4 is going to be delayed to match up with Forza's release? That's ridiculous. Take, for example, sales in PS2 versus the Xbox. Because the PS2 came out earlier, it had already set a foundation.
It makes no sense that GT4 wouldn't be released earlier than Forza, if the chance was there.

Well it's fact that GT4 is GOING to out sell Forza, there is no question about it. WIth all the PS2's that are out there, even if only 25% of the people in the world who own PS2's bought GT4, that's STILL ten million copies of GT4.

lancer10dude the can make a car over 280 and it's 276 but the Government stop them from doing so
the 276hp rule was a gentelmans agreement... It has nothing to do with the Japanese government... Most all of the cars that are labelled at 276hp, are actually quite a bit more...

I have been looking at people comments on this forum for quite some time since it has built up a good community of people before ( a lot of people) i joined. I have both ps2 (with gt3) and xbox.
Since gt3 and the upcoming months or so i cannot wait for gt4 to come out in uk because i know it will be leaps in front in terms of gameplay etc
However i played the Forza demo at Gamestar live back in around beginning of november and it did state that it was only 40 - 60 % percent complete which i think the the same demo just got released a month or so in america because it has the same cars and the same tracks or was it just the laguna i forgot and most of forza's previouse screenshots have come from that accept for the newly released 1s kk i dont know if i needed to say that.
Anyway i hope both will be great games well actually both r looking to be great games especially since people comments on gt4 release. In terms of graphics which every1 wants to know which will look better,, (doh somepeople say its all about gameplay obviously first comes gameplay but graphics is always needed) both will look great since forza has the ability to better because of xbox u have to give it up for Po for wht they have achieved with the ps2 it must be sad u cannot get better then this on ps2...

Ok, well for you to say that you're dissapointent in a game you HAVEN'T played.
BTW, GT doesn't have Ferrari's and Lambo's because of EA's lock on them. It has nothing to do with Japan freakeness. It has to do contracts. The leader of PD said himself that if he could put ferrari in the game, he'd delay the game a few months. Next time make sure you understand what you're saying.
He wasn't calling you stupid, he was saying that you statement was stupid. And I'm sorry to say, but it was. You or anyone, don't have the required info to say one is better then the other. You played the forza demo and haven't played GT4. So, how is Forza better? Besides a few manufactures that many aren't worried about.

But you forget Forza will probably attract the NFSU crowd and that's a fairly big crowd... so maybe it has a chance at competing with GT4 for sales

Nope, still no chance. There just arent nearly as many Xbox's in the US as there are PS2's. The hardware base difference is what will make the difference. Not to mention once people find out "NOS" is in GT4...they will THINK it's a fun easy racer, it's a selling point.

How do you know all of that about Forza, that you can't change the rims, the customisation is easily on par possibly even better than GT4's, the AI is more than likely better and you don't have a clue what Forza's physics will be like in the final build.

I think you should learn to take criticism. Don't put it in your signature that you have low self esteem because someone;s going to criticise you anyway, and when they do, you can't just go "I said not to criticise me! Boohoo!" and start throwing things.

In the case of Forza, I don't see what's so good about it. I saw a screenshot just before that reminded me of a game I have that I bought in 2001. Forza is overrated and personally, if I had an Xbox, I probably wouldn't buy it.
I played Forza last night at my local Game Stop....demo.
Well.....lets see...It is NO Gran Turismo...I'd say it is 1/2 Gran Turismo 1/2 Need for Speed High Stakes.
The cars are kinda cartoony....there is damage...which was cool....but the best part was...taking off all TCS, etc...blah, blah...then...pretty cool...
Squeezing that accelerator trigger became fun for once....Awesome burnouts.... and with rubber left on the tracks from my viper, it then became very, very cool...
Also...losing the back end of the Viper....totally...upon heavy accelleration was refreshingly real.
Bummer was I saw no replay....
I like the game, if I had an X-box I'd buy it....but not if it comes out anywhere near the release of GT4...that's just unacceptable.

I was originally an XBOX owner now i got a PS2 playing GT3 and waiting for GT4 and my main beef is that theres too many fanboys for all three i mean im not being biast though but a lot more XBOX owners accept that GT3 and GT4 kick ass than the ones ive seen that admit that HALO is a great game and that Forza though not as good as GT4 might be halfway decent. Ill probably cop Forza to release the inner rice with the vynils (j/k) but i know GT4 will be better although im originally an XBOX guy.
Oh...and forgot...
I raced Laguna....the track was very....uhhhh...well, it was allllllllright...no comparison to GT...but allright.
and it was wrong, too....missin' stuff...
I'd give the game an 8 out 10...maybe...a nine if they were as cool as GT and put a GNX in it..

At least Forza will have online. 
Im just joking I am excited about both games. They each will have their own qualities that make them incredible and comparable. No way to say which one is better since we dont have both of them. But dont forget at least Forza will allow us to play together online.
