Jesus ****ing christ! I spelled it out for you in the original post. I said .2% not 2% . I went further and spelled out as point 2 percent. And holy ****, 2% is .02!!!! not .2. You have absolutely no clue of how complex of algorithims they are actually having the xbox process. You do not have any idea what you are talking about and you are being completely hypocritical.

There have been many problems with "LIVE" play the "latency" aspect should not be entered into the equation as that should be catered for in the programming, having played every on-line release to date the only game to get it spot-on is MGP2, 16 players(occasional lag/catered for) everything works. As for bad releases try the first TOCA "LIVE", after emailing CODEMASTERS they recommended a 2meg UPLOAD! required to host 12 players(that equates to a T1 connection). SEGA GT unbelievable lag, 3+ seconds in team racing, making it unplayable, INDYCAR 2005 don't even ask, abysmal. I realise "latency" will affect gaming but not to the degree certain titles are obviously affected, it's got a great deal to do with programming, jeez in some of the pre-game lobby's the voice will break up, so what chance does that hold out for a decent race?

I didn't mean he was stating his opnion there, I meant he was on Forza. Anyhow, theres been enough posts agreeing with you and explaining why since that post I'm sure the next time Tha_con is in here he'll be cool with it, he's quite level headed.

OK 1st off, the Video compared a Z06 from 2001 to a 2005 C6, They do not sound anywhere near the same.
2nd, the video failed to show that Forza has some ****ty crap in it too. The video of Car you CAN drive in GT only showed slow ones.
This is to whoever made the video,
"Hey, stupid, You neglect to mention that in GT3, some of the cars you can only drive in GT3 were the Mazda 787B, Ruf RGT, which is faster than a Porsche, and a Jaguar XJ220. I have yet to see the XJ220 make an appearence in Forza.
And GT4 features the Cizect W16, faster than a Ferrari, Spyker C8, and more.
Better stop being a biased fanboy."

Do not tell us your roommates are keeping you from this new Forza build. Please, throw us a bone! We promise to try and stop posting the link to that goofy GT-4 vz. Forza parody. (Yes, it was meant as HUMOR, I assume. I had nothing to do with it, but thought is was funny!) If bribes are neccesary, let us know what your 'virtual lager' of choice is. I am sure we will do whatever it takes.
Also, can you give a little of your background info. Who do you write for, have you beta tested (and for what. . . ) blah-blah-blah

I feel I have to point out how wrong that statement is in the context that your comaring the Cizeta to Forza's Ferrari selection is daft especially when Forza has the Enzo. Besides that the Cizeta is only fast in a straight line, round corners they understeer like a brick wagon.McLaren F1GTR

OK, Forza has the Enzo, yes. But it seems some people only want Forza instead of GT4 for its car list having Ferrari and Porsche. If that's all they care about, they need to play NFS, but they probably already do.
However, the vid Front posted was very wrong comparing a 2001 Z06 to a 2005 C6. They sound almost nothing alike.

It's too hard to tell from just a clip.
I see little snips of GT4 on TechTV sometimes and it looks ultra slick.
I have seen one small segment on Forza several times, and I first thought it looked like SegaGT mixed with Gran Turismo 3.
When I played the Foprza demo, it was on an LCD in the kiosk, and those things always look like total crap refreshing at like 24h or something.
Impossible to really tell there, too.

Sorry, been gone playing GT4 and Forza, between the two games, and work (I'm also in the Army) it's kinda hard to get all my play time in AND post up here when I have to write impressions on these games and comparisons yada yada.

I have done some more playing with the Forzademo today and the fantastic realistic physics provide a very rich drivingexperience. It's quite amazing. there's so much going on during a hot lap. It's hard to describe all the details but you feel everything like in real life : oversteer, understeer, the way the tires lose and regain grip, the way the car moves,not only on its suspension but also the movement of the tires etc... and it remains very playable and loads of fun. It really gives you the feeling of controlling a light overpowered racecar on the edge.
