Lets see these pics, or a link at least. You guys are not convincing me as much as what I saw today.

Im not saying it isnt false, but give some facts... flub up isnt cutting it.

Here is the pic we are refering too.

Its a fake done by Gamestop in the US for laughs. Was confirmed by the Gamestop employees that run that store.

You really thought its possible that the Microsoft published 360 flagship racing game Forza Motorsport 3 will come to the PS3?

Hitler thought he could make a supreme race of humans. People have thought a lot worse than a game company would want to sell more games. (and I never expressed my thoughts BTW)

Just alone what you posted is enough

Enough what?

I asked a question. I never said anything was true or false... I never said anything, except asked a question. So, this is for you Ace:dunce:

I saw a big sign that said "FM3 coming to PS3 soon"

PD is using higher polygon count GT4 models. When they made those models for GT4, they created high-detail models [200,000+ polygon versions] that were scaled down in polygon count, textures and L.O.D. to fit the parameters of the PS2. Now, with GT5 - they can utilize those full, high-detail models.

GT5 models are made much different though, seperate panels and seperate features (door handles, fuel flaps, detail behind the grill etc) which in GT4 was mostly textured on.

Track models: FM3>GT5

I can't agree with that, from what I have seen with the real tracks, FM3 tracks may look a little "warmer" but less accurate.

Here is another pic, my friend is the store manager and he said every store got them. I doubt it was a joke, thats an expensive joke.

@ Schmo - you seriously believe that FM3 a Microsoft owned and developed IP will release their game on the competitor. Its a joke.

There are images of the back cover and close ups around the internet. The artwork is very sloppy and poorly designed. No design company in the world would survive after putting a poorly designed package out there. MS would fire them in an instant.

Im not saying it is real... I am in BFE WV and it is here, with other promotional signs, as I already stated. My point is if it is here then it is everywhere.

Someone get some facts and explain it. Nobody repeat what has been said. Get facts.

My POV- Microsoft is a company, and companies make money. To make money they sell games. I will not buy an XBox to play FM3, but if it was on the PS3 I would buy it, and at least some others would too (especially if it comes out before GT5.)

BTW, it looked a lot better, and more official, than the promotional box for GT on PSP.
Also, I looked on gamestop.com and you can preorder FM3 for XBox but not PS3 (so I am inclined to think it is not real) but I still would like factual information on why this is in every store in America, at least.

i say its to hype up FM3. As GT5 took all FM3s coverage after Gamescom. Since then there has been no talk about FM3 as much as there was when E3 happened.

If like you say its at every store in the US then somebody spent a lot of time and money having fake boxes sent to all the stores. If you want something official. Contact Turn10 or MS directly and ask them.

If its all about money then why isnt Halo and other 360 exclusives on multiplatforms?

Wow, another post without facts( I almost forgot why I said "get facts.") You all are terrible debaters.

I agree w/ simple sim, but I am not convinced, yet.

edit- just forget it. I give up.

If you still need convincing why don't you go and check how many games Microsoft Game Studios has released for the PS3 :P

Launching this October exclusively for Xbox 360, "Forza Motorsport 3"

I don't even know why some people are considering the thought it might come to PS3, it wont.

that guy doesnt know what a fanboy is, yet he uses it in every other post. *laughing out loud at your ignorance*

I never said an opinion, or judgement, or anything. I certainly never hoped for anything.

Wow my ignorance is being laughed at by the guy who wanted factual proof that MS's biggest racing license was going to remain exclusive...

Hey you know what? GT5 hasn't come out yet... it's possible all 1000 cars will have full damage inside and out despite the fact it's been denied! Even if it comes out and it's only 170 they might be unlockable damage! Maybe just play for 3000 hours and it will become unlocked!

It's good you are laughing... becuase it makes the rest of us less uncomfortable laughing at you.

"Exclusive" titles are to sell consoles as much as they are to sell games, so why would MS release it on PS3 and take the exclusive side of it away, it's laughable to even consider it to be true

.

I have to admit. Forza does have quite a few advantages over GT.

There was a time when I would have never said such a thing.
I respect your opinion but I disagree.

For me the only advantages it has over GT is features such as painting, auction house. This means nothing to me because im a racer and want a racing game.

I feel GT has an advantage in nearly every other aspect. What I love about PD is there attention to detail. However this cannot be said for Turn 10, although to be fair there not allowed nowhere near the same development time. Forza 3 has many missing features and this will be illustrated when GT5 is released.

P.S when I say FM3 tracks look cartoony I say this because they remind me of the racing games I used to play back in the 1990s at the seaside. Nice colourful graphics but far from realistic!

I have something for the Forza fanboys to look at...

Forza 3:

GT5:

You can keep your damage, car painting and "community" crap. I'll take a racer that looks like GT5 over that **** ANY DAY.

I'm quite sure your being sarcastic

Comparing a touched up photo mode pic to a real-time pic taken off a TV screen with a digital camera is hardly fair.

Besides, Turn 10 would kill to have their car models look as good as GT5 car models do in real time.

Forza 3's Audi R8 looks great in the showroom and in bull shots, and so does the GT5 R8, but in game the GT5 R8's engine (and other mid-engine cars) retains all it's high definition detail, while the realtime Forza R8's engine bay becomes a low textured smeared mess.

Turn 10 got close to PD in modeling detail (still behind PD in the nuances, like realistic/proper looking carbon, leather, plastics etc), but the 360 cannot handle the models in real time, even though there is only 8 of them on track at just 720p.
