Hi guys, Ive had problems since last night, the widget says Im running 6/6 drivers, its difficult to start races, but even though the widget says Im running 6 drivers, noone has raced my bobs since 9pm CET. Ive been using United states as server, now Ive changed to UK, hoping to get things working. Any known problems?

I get a "temporary server" fail message..shifting back to US..now says 0/6 drivers in use. This is clearly not working.

I was just able to manually run your racers, and one was being run already. Your account is not showing a US or UK flag next to it, but one that is red with a white cross (Denmark ?). Maybe the codes for LeSarthe are not synced up to the correct country?

I noticed you had launched 4 of my bobs, and the one being run was my own.
Yups, thats the danish flag, weird, because my settings says United States.

Racing just stopped after working fairly ok for 2 days last night between 9-10pm CET.

Ill go check the settings in debug mode, thanks!

Hey, sorry for being AWOL, I had a bunch of problems getting the widget to work. First, it wouldnt run at all, then I couldnt get the friends on my widget to reconcile with my PNS friends. They would show up on gran-turismo.net, but not in the widget. I tried messing around with it, but had to put it on the back burner as I'm a medical student and had a 24 hour call shift followed by a research presentation (no weekends in sub-internship).

Also, when adding friends, some members on the list gave the message that they had the max number of friends. I finally had some time to devote to this and pretty much figured it out and started grinding, just to find out that I had been removed from the group. I would really appreciate another chance. Once I get everything up and running I'll pretty much run the widget 24/7.

I would also really like to thank those of you who added me and started grinding. I'll gladly reciprocate if I'm allowed back in the group.

Now did one race, widget says again 6/6 drivers in use, although noone is racing my bobs. I dont know whats wrong, it seems im off the grid somehow.

Its just server issues. Lots of it today, i've been switching between hk, sg and us servers all morning as the widget continuously gets stuck.

Such issues usually will sort themselves out eventually. But it is annoying isn't it? :)

Gotta love the internet!! :) Ive just readded Sarthe via the debug engine, and noticed a LOT of these messages:

"Server refused to reserve HOODFIELD's driver even though it said it was free."

All serverrefusals seems to be linked to people from the preferred list, and my grid is now mainly filled with people from the "use randomly" list.
And the widget still says 6/6 drivers in use.

edit: Seems to be working now :)

*I have now sent FR to all members listed on the first page, with the exception of GTP_lbsf1 because every time I try to add, I get an error message saying that he has reached the friend limit. Will start grinding again tonight. Thanks again*

I have atm 29 drivers assigned to "always use", still some who havent accepted my FR, only 1 of these are from outside the grinders club. Still I dont race more than 50-60% clubmembers/race, the rest is from my "use randomly list" and in the widget debug window I get tons of serverrefusals before each race.

Just to say that Im actually trying to grind members drivers, but I do have serverproblems that somehow prevents it. Hope it changes!

It will work fine after a while. :)
Try with adding a 2 second delay in the widget and see if it is successful in adding more drivers so you get a full grid.

edit: Oh, and use Reciprocate, not Always Use.

Regarding your 50%-60% club members usage. Its because the check is done with only the current members list being counted. You may have some old members in your races which are not counted, thus bringing down your percentage. Please check the list regularly and update accordingly.

Tried to run it last night but something wouldnt connect properly. Dont know if it was the widget or PSN itself, I didnt get much time to troubleshoot. Internet was spotty all evening last night. Will try to get it running when Im home from work tonight.

What and how do you do that? I still get these all the time:

Sorry but Im the original computer noob.

Right-click the widget, choose Manage Drivers. Where it says Use Randomly, click the arrow, select Reciprocate.

You do get "Server refused...", we all do.
 
sorry, got a little caught up here last night, since im a night guard in the army :P im going to get you all added in a few.

just a question about this..

Does the "manage drivers" tab only show up if the PS3 is in server standby mode? because i cant see it as it is now..

Yes the widget has to be connected to ps3 for it to be available.

Thanks mate, got it set up ;) but now it seems to have a problem with starting up races.. just goes from starting race to race ended all the time :S any thoughts?
 
Typically indicates that there are no drivers available to populate the race. Right click and force reauthenticate.
