It's funny, but with all the difficulties in a Matterhorn lap, I think it's mostly only 2 sections that make or break a lap. The first is the chicane right after start/finish. The faster you go through it, the faster you go up the second part of the hill, which is easily worth a couple of tenths. The second is the downhill braking zone. After the long downhill right-hander, you have the bumpy kink to the left over which you have to keep the car stable and then brake early enough or the car will start sliding at the bottom when you should be turning in fluently into the 90° left. I also fully expect all the blue and red flags on the right there to be gone by lap 5, so I guess I still need to find another reference point as a brake marker.

My predictions foe Matterhorn:

• Performance disparity through GT-O will be very large, leading to many GT-O's being lapped by faster GT-O's
• Many crashes, I can see people getting very strong finishes if they just keep it on the road
• Difficult to pass, very few good passing opportunities making the GT-P's jobs extra difficult
• Rage quits, inevitably one or two through people continuously crashing and getting frustrated

Tried the Jag and managed a 41.6. Bearing in mind that the Jag's best tracks are yet to come, that's closer than I thought.

41.8 after a couple of laps (41.6 with best sectors), but there's a little bit more in it with some gearbox refinement.

Edit: The trick is to have the engine rev at its sweet spot in 3rd and 4th on the uphill straights.

Mine does this, does it let you join the room? Then it says its loading (the loading thing when the room is in practice or race mode) when it doesn't let you leave the room?

Random, what brings you to these parts? I have heard of people like Smuffy who do have these issues. Seems to be there particular game. Disc clean is all I can suggest.

Well we have some capture card guys over in ToCA who have done sporadic items in the past. With how much action there is in these races though, be hard to whittle down highlights - the first 22 laps of Brands for 2nd 3rd 4th were something - reason we're some of the most competitive out there
