But you're doing it consistently, consistency wins championships!

Also, 4 cars separated by 5 points, this is why I chose GT-O over GT-P, the racing was closer and less strategy based :)

So you win championships by consistently losing? lol

Realistically as all the other tracks have twisty turns the only track Ferrari might be competitive is Monza, so I can only see myself going backwards championship wise.

I think you underestimate your car....

3 quickest drivers in GT-O are in the Cobra. Somewhat skews it.

Basically, here's my schedule for the rest of this final WSC X season:

Round 11
Round 13
Round 14
Test/Q1
Q2/Race

No questions as to whether I will or will not be there (unless something comes up, to which I'll immediately let you know).

Also, I'm considering changing cars but knowing how slow I am, not really sure it'll make any difference whatsoever.

Car changes not permitted. Cheers for schedule info.

I've got a better setup for the Alpine so I'm hoping to be a bit more competitive/closer to everyone else at Bathurst. Might get some practice in as well!

You won 2 races already. Doesn't sound like losing a lot to me.

And the 250GTO isn't bad through turns (as e.g. Brands Hatch showed), it's actually faster through turns than the Cobra, but it has a tighter power band, so the Cobra's acceleration is better, which means it's got advantages coming out of slow corners.

I think the Ferrari should be competitive at every track since many of them have mostly medium to fast corners, maybe except the two Swiss GP's.

I also recall previous seasons Ferrari GTO being very capable here, and it has additional power compared to then...

Sorry Furi, I won't be competing tonight.

I know we only talked about it briefly but I'm interested in racing and I'm available as a reserve if anyone else has to cancel.

I will be there but maybe a few minutes late, like half past-ish.

Also I am going to be captain state-the-obvious again and remind everyone that its virtually impossible to overtake through sectors two and three (all the mountain-y bit). There is only one racing line, my car is like a truck to stop, and if I fall off it I will be into the barrier, so please don't go smashing into the back of me and just be patient:tup:

You can overtake, you just got to mainly rely on the guy ahead making a mistake. Nothing someone can do to "force" an issue. GT-P cars will certainly be going for moves lapping in those sectors.

Yes that's what I meant, only possible if somebody makes a mistake. Gt-Ps need to be extra careful though because if somebody attempts anything aggressive or does a late dive you are going to get two cars in the barriers blocking the road. Nobody wins.

In all honesty looking at the map...

From between T2 to T18, overtaking stretches:

T2 to T3, T5 to T7 (highly risky), T9 to T10 (see a few GT-Ps trying to use extra DF here), T10-11, and T16-18.

From 11-17 that's the bit where its pretty much one line. I can't really see how the faster cars can get through there. Going into 11 that's the point where I have to break very early so I just wanted to make sure people were aware of this to avoid any potential accidents waiting to happen.

I think everyone else does... But for that bloody Alpine that'll be like 10mph quicker through nearly every corner (when it makes it up the hill  @andrew1990 )

I'll be honest, I'm more concerned about the GT-P's coming up from behind at a much greater speed in the twisty section than any GT-O's. :dopey:
