Sorry I dont know if this has already been mentioned but i have a blue tooth keyboard and the enter key keeps repeating for 2-3 races. and after those 2-3 races it stops working and i have to reset it. is there a way i could fix it? :ouch:

i have a blue tooth keyboard and every 2-3 races it stops repeating the enter key. is there anyway i can stop it from doing this, because its pointless if i just have to keep resetting it. thanks

Stupid thing, I'm grinding this thing, and I leave it running alone while I'm at home and it never get stuck, I go about and when I get home the thing has been stuck for like 5h :yuck:
Go to sleep, check one last time before closing my eyes and when I wake up the thing has been stuck for hours like 30 mins after I fell sleep

It has something of the Murphy's Law about it. When I've done this and I've been at home and able to check it, there has never been a problem. But nearly everytime I set it up and leave for a few hours, when I come back it has been pushin a wall for most of the time I've been gone.

So I just stopped doing this while I'm out. :grumpy:

You have to adjust left stick position very precise. It especially critical on Like The Wind Indy where cars are very fast. So, you have to adjust between max speed and stickness to border.
If you grind on Dream Car Indy (less credit/min ratio) then it's much easy since you don't have to reach 400kmh speed.

Another hint for Like The Wind Indy: There are several car grid configs. Choose one where Escudo is on first (or second - i don't remember) position and you are just behind Pescarolo car. Restart race several times until get this cars config.

Easy fix - go get yourself a really cheap USB keyboard 👍

I set mine up to run all night and had been watching it some before I went to bed, I got up to see it had been pushing the wall for 2 1/2 hr. Not too bad. It happens. 1 mil an hr, its worth the risk IMO.

The Escudo and the Toyota 7 Race Car (1st & 2nd) and you are all good for 20h of grinding

;)

I decided to give this a go. I configured the right analogue stick to steer as well as accelerate so only need the one elastic band. USB keyboard with some card wedging the enter key down. Been on dream car indy for an hour or so without problems. Tried like the wind, but no consistency with race wins, sometimes finishing down the order. Seems like a good way to grind up the cash and xp. 👍

I have used this 3 nights in a row on indy like the wind race, and i have made over 20m.
I try with aids off and it really works well, just put downforce 50-50 and be precice about the right stick...
And i use the controler to push the enter key:D

Just started doing this about 2 days ago with my G27, Been grinding Dream car Indy the whole time without a single problem, Should be good for level 40 in a few more days.

When you grind like this, I know it doesn't add KM to your odometer of your car, but does the game Km's still go up, and do you get the 1000 ticket(s) ?

Couple of questions:
What kind of lap times should I be getting? I gave it a go this morning and was doing 48s laps, which still won easily.
Could this be done for the Indy 500?

41s with a fully tuned X2010, 42-43s with one with +50,000 miles on the clock that is desperate need of an oil change. You should be hitting 260 mph+ at the end of each straight and about 190mph on the corners.

Turn off the auto oversteer correction, set traction control to 5, and ABS to 1. Then fine tune the steering to only drift RIGHT slightly.

I soon got bored at doing this grinding, so have stopped now, but got quite proficient at it. Made at least 20M credits...

This can't be done for endurance races as you need to pit/refuel every 15 mins or so I recall.

Turn left or right? I've got it pointing to the right, maybe a bit too much.

You only need 2 elastic bands for this. One to make the right control arm point at 12 o'clock, the other band to make the left control arm point at 12:01. Then something heavy on the enter key of a usb keyboard. Simples...

Oh and turning off the controller force feedback is a good idea too!!

dunno if it hasnt been mentioned:
Take a one cent euro coin. It fits perfectly between analog stick and controller body.
You can also adjust the coin better for the slight right steering and its so tight that it does not bother about force feedback. (the force is strong with the one euro cent xDD)

Ah, so it's not a lot to the right, then? I was tilting it quite far over, which would explain why it was only doing 48 second laps.

I've had some limited success at letting it slowly drift left. It can't go up into the grass when it comes to a turn, but only on pavement. It will get into fights with other cars some and will end up pushing the wall. You have to keep an eye on it.

Keep the oil changed, it helps.

If you decide to let it go to the right, its just EVER so slightly right. Get the car going straight with the track then move it right till it only slightly goes right. I did about 10 hours unsupervised with no mishaps with it like this.

My enter button seems stopped, Anyone still grinding with holding down enter? I tried my PS Keyboard or Computer usb keyboard. nothing working. Any news?

If you can borrow an X-2010 then the power does not drop off over time, no need for oil changes. I have run for 1 1/2 days continuously when going up from 34.

Anyone? I didn't get any patch when enter button's stop working. Impossible.

Wow, that's odd. I thought I was the only one with this problem and thought it was my keyboard.

Try the Enter button by the number key pad. It worked perfectly for me again. 👍
