yeah yeah ... "bad pd make us grind if we want to finish the game!" "it needs so much time to get from lvl36 to lvl40" ... seriosly ... i mean .. we're playing that game because we "want to race" and we get even xp and money for racing online.
finish the game just to finish the game? please -.^
i just one time want to READ a GOOD reason wth people WANT that stuff? i mean ... they obviusly do ... but i just cant UNDERSTAND that fact :/

Don't worry about it to much champ. I can think of many other world wide issues that you could put your efforts to. You do what you want, others will do what they want. Move on.

I only race online with my friends in a championship/Time Trial league and I need Credits to get all of the cars/upgrades that may be useful for the competitions, which includes testing several cars for each track each time to pick the best one for the GP/TT event.
Single player mode is badly executed on PD part, boring and a colossal waste of time, why should I bother with it past the license tests/special events?

I didn't want to buy a clamp or a rapid fire enabled controller, I also didn't want to have to set my controller down in a specific angle with a Swiss Army knife. But after seeing this...
And roasting some asparagus I gave it a try and its been ghetto fabulous!!!

It grinded ~2.5mil while watching Conan and got me to 18mill total, then I bought 12mil worth of cars! When I last left it I had 6mil and was at 82% lvl 28.

I remembered about this today when I went to check on my A spec Andy hehe.
He had clocked up 10mill credits over night 👍 and a 1000 ticket.
Unfortunately the 1000 ticket was a micra
I am sure pd know what I was at and punished me with a crap car lol.Here is a picture of my setup, simple and effective.

I really hope the next bonus race comes around before I resort to this.
Ya i totally agree that this is even possible but its probably possible in any racing game that has an oval. Just the most powerful car and use it the same way.
The only solution would be to add more of a penalty when the car is touching the wall ie. slow the car more or realistic damage to the extent a tyre would fail.
That said it shouldnt be necessary to have to grind so much in the game. If I wanted to grind hour after hour Id play wow.

The only reason i'm doing this is to get the stupid xp system done,i'm not interested in running Le Sarthe 24hr race +6 times then have to run another 24hr race just to complete the game.
I have never done anything like this and i've played since GT1 days,this goes to show how PD messed up with the xp.
GT was always about the licenses now they are pointless.

Yeah I have been grinding the walls for CR and XP. Reminds me of when you could set up a SNES controller to gring XP in several RPGs. Sony should put an OCD warning on this game's packaging lol. If PD were smart they would just increase the online money and XP by 5 to 10x the current amounts: this would allow players to race any A-spec race they want and only have to do it once and buy any cars they want. Online against others is where all the fun is; the single-player game is just work. Even if I had all the cars and full XP and an infinite supply of money: I would be playing online. I still cannot believe that the A-spec is not made into an online game where you could set up the game to allow random online players to enter/invade your race so you would be racing real people in these races. (Money and XP would have to be greatly increased to compensate for the real potential of losing often). Imagine teaming up in a co-op mode with real people for endurance races. I grind the walls so when I play, I actually play and have fun with others.

Is this possible, without a keyboard or a rapidfire controller. I have my ds3 and a laptop. Is there anyway to do it then?

After reading this whole thread, I just have two things two say.
First, level and experience systems belong to RPGs. Racing games should be based on licenses, like GT was. This is just ridiculous.
Second, props to everyone on their workaround this big PD mess.
