I couldn't see why they won't be in GT5 in the first place, they are two legendary tracks and have been in previous iterations of GT.

The 'Ring was confirmed for GT5 when GT5 was confirmed

Thanks GT5_Racer, I hadn't actually seen the ones with the full laps before.

Ignore all the people with nothing better to do than moan about something being old, is that all you guy's do all day?

+1

I am also glad that they have been posted, I haven't seen them before so it's new to me I guess.

I hadn't seen them either, so thanks.

(And by the way, the F2007 video is a perfect example of why this game on this generation of consoles NEEDS damage, looks even more ridiculous to me now than when I played GT4 on the 'Ring.)

Its OK. I thought i would upload them because not everyone has seen them. So no problamo

Wow- talk about weird karma- I discovered one video on youtube today, just surfing through race videos- and for the heck of it, typed in Gran Turismo Nurburgring- and found it.

The Le Mans is new to me though- thanks for the videos! Although, I wish the dude on the 'ring in the GT-R would've raced in cockpit view.

No there are always wheels on presentations like this.

EDIT: And btw. i drive with pad and believe me, you wouldnt see something like this from me.

The first video really looks as if there was a wheel in use, since the movement looks very smooth.
I have been drivning all the GT games with a controller until GT5 Prologue, i bought a G25 especially for GT5 and know its hard to go back to the controller, because it feels awkeward somehow.

if i would be driving the Ring with a controller right no it might actually look a bit like in the video. At least two of these videos were made on a console with only a dualshock attatched.

I find the controller easier to use casually, i use D-PAD though, i'm shocking with stix. However when im up for a bit more of a challenge or want to put in a better time, i wip out the G25.

.

Same here.

I started playing GT5P with the controller but within just 5mins I knew this time I simply had to buy a wheel. I purchased my G25 a month ago but I haven't really used this much on GT5P because I want to keep it brand new for GT5. However just in the short period that I did play GT5P the difference was night and day. All of a sudden the F2007 became instantly driveable which couldn't be said when using with the pad.

The other problem I found with the PS3 controller is it made my hands hurt although some of this is because I now used to the 360 controller. Speaking of the 360 controller there is now a device that allows you to use a 360 wired controller on the PS3. An ideal solution for those who dislike the PS3 pad but don't want to use a wheel.

They had no wheel i guess, there were only Dualshock controllers.

Contrary to popular belief, not everyone who plays with a Controller drives as idiotic as those guys did.

thanks GT4_Racer never saw the audi around la sarthe 👍 the noise of the tyres still the same 👎

The video/build is roughly two years old or more, IIRC the R8 and TT was first properly shown in the La sarthe version demos before GT5P came out.

I think its much easier with a dualshock 3 then with a steering wheel especially at high speeds. I had the official granturismo wheel but had to take it back because i had no where to clamp it to but whens GT5 comes out im going to get another steering wheel.
Does anyone have any recomendations for steering wheels and a stand?

I don't know why people have so many clamping issues, i just clamp my G25 to a table or desk, and sit on a chair and Bob's your uncle.

Some people have already said it but there's absolutely no excuse for driving like that on the Nurburgring with a controller, unless you're simply bad at racing games or Gran Turismo.

I had the DFP for GT4 and while I didn't use it that much, I was always better with the controller. It really is not that difficult at all to keep it on the road with a controller.

I'll give the guy a break, it seems like racing games aren't his tastes, and not used to racing a game with realistic physics.
