The other one got shut down because they received numerous reports of bad behaviour.. It's a new beginning, we all deserve a second chance(not that we have done anything that makes us need one, including me... )

a certain person of higher age entered that thread multiple times with a negative premise where people of much younger age frequented. ruined the mood of the thread and then they got punished for countering the negativity with negativity as any young human would.

Ahhh... I tried to learn through YouTube, just Googled.. Etc, still do not get it.

1. Plug usb into ps3
2. go to ps3 save game data, go to your gt5 data.
3. Press triangle, an option to copy will come up.
4. Copy to usb.
5. Start gt5, rip the ticket you're trying to get specific car with.
6. If unsuccessful, quit to XMB.
7. Return to ps3 save data, choose your usb.
8. Copy save data from usb to ps3.
9. Your ticket will now be restored waiting for you to rip again.
This also works for trading cars and tickets. 👍

No it'll ask you if you want to overwrite, choose yes.
As long as you're careful you wont have a problem, i admit i was careless one day and lost a ticket accidentally.

@bagmup There's a video on YouTube search by gt5 usb tutorial he deletes his file to upload the other one that seems risky cause if u delete without saving it there go all your stuff.

Sorry for asking so many questions I'm just curious what do you do with the backup gt5 file

Ignore the backup file, just copy and overwrite the primary file as needed.

All you're basically doing is copying your file with the ticket/car for trade onto a usb for safe keeping then using that file to overwrite the auto save that happens when you rip the ticket/send cars or send tickets.
